Summary

This three-year-old sports car presents a compelling opportunity, combining one of the most resilient resale colors in the UAE with mileage that sits comfortably below the regional average for its age. As a GTS, it offers a sharper, more driver-focused setup than the standard S, bridging the gap to the Turbo models while remaining perfectly usable as a daily driver. The 911 remains the benchmark for usable performance in the GCC, offering a level of mechanical reliability and heat management that few rivals can match in summer conditions. For the enthusiast buyer, this specific RWD configuration represents the purest modern interpretation of the iconic flat-six experience.

This Car vs Other 2023 911s

With just over 20,000 km on the clock, this example has been driven roughly 6,700 km per year, which is significantly lower than the 20,000–25,000 km typical of many GCC-based grand tourers. The black-on-black specification is a perennially strong choice in the local market, ensuring high demand and value retention compared to more niche exterior colors.

CARRERA GTS vs Lower Trims

The GTS trim is highly coveted in the GCC because it bundles essential performance hardware that is optional on the Carrera S, including the Sport Chrono Package and Sport Exhaust. It sits 10mm lower on a GTS-specific PASM sport suspension and features the massive braking system borrowed directly from the 911 Turbo, providing superior stopping power for high-speed highway driving.

911 vs Segment Rivals

Against rivals like the Aston Martin Vantage or Audi R8, the 911 leads with its superior cabin cooling efficiency and daily ergonomics, which are vital for the extreme UAE summer. Its 64-litre fuel tank and balanced twin-turbo setup provide a practical range for long cross-emirate drives from Dubai to Abu Dhabi that more temperamental supercars struggle to match.

Running Costs & Resale

The 911 maintains one of the lowest depreciation rates in the GCC luxury segment, typically losing only 8–12% annually compared to 15%+ for most European peers. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.7 L/100km, though this increases in stop-start city traffic in Downtown Dubai. Authorized service centers are well-established across all major GCC cities, ensuring parts and expert technicians are always accessible.

Performance & Capability

The 473 hp output allows for a blistering 0–100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. The rear-wheel-drive layout provides a traditional, communicative steering feel that enthusiasts prefer for weekend drives through the Jebel Jais mountain passes. Dedicated drive modes, including 'Wet Mode', optimize the chassis for the occasional sand-dusted or rain-slicked surfaces found in the region.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the GTS features a Race-Tex and leather interior designed to remain comfortable even in high temperatures. The dual-zone automatic climate control is specifically tuned for rapid cabin pull-down in 45 degree heat, while the 2+2 seating configuration provides a level of practical storage space rarely found in mid-engine competitors. The standard Bose Surround Sound and 10.9-inch touchscreen ensure a fully connected experience for longer commutes.

Safety

Safety is managed by Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and a comprehensive suite of six airbags as standard. For fast-moving GCC traffic, the integrated ParkAssist and reversing camera provide essential visibility in tight urban parking, while the high-performance braking system from the Turbo model ensures consistent, fade-free performance even in extreme ambient heat.

The bottom line

This is a low-mileage, GCC-spec GTS in the region's most popular color, offering the ideal balance of track-bred performance and daily reliability for the discerning UAE collector.
