Summary

This 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera represents the absolute latest in the 992.2 generation, featuring the newly updated 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six. With only 485 km on the odometer, this vehicle is essentially in showroom condition, offering a significant advantage over typical high-mileage GCC used examples. The Triple Black configuration — black exterior on a sleek 2025 cockpit — remains a blue-chip resale choice in the UAE and Saudi markets. While the high-tier GTS models move toward hybridization, this Carrera remains a pure combustion experience, making it a target for traditionalists. It strikes the perfect balance between a daily-capable executive coupe and a weekend performance machine for the region's well-maintained highways.

This Car vs Other 2025 911s

At just 485 km, this car's mileage is exceptionally low for the GCC, where the average annual commute often hits 25,000 km. Most 2025 models currently in the market have already seen several thousand kilometers of road use, making this a rare 'delivery-mileage' opportunity. The Japanese specification ensures high equipment levels and meticulous early-life care, typical of cars sourced from that market for the UAE.

CARRERA vs Lower Trims

As the foundational 911, the 2025 Carrera now receives hardware previously reserved for the GTS, including larger turbochargers and the relocated intercooler for better thermal management in the heat. It introduces the new 12.6-inch fully digital curved instrument cluster as standard, moving away from the analog-digital mix of the 992.1. Additionally, this generation features the redesigned LED Matrix System headlights and a refreshed rear light strip that significantly updates its nighttime presence.

911 vs Segment Rivals

The 911 Carrera remains the benchmark against rivals like the Maserati GranTurismo and the Aston Martin Vantage. Its rear-engine layout provides a unique traction advantage on sand-blown tarmac and superior braking stability compared to front-engine competitors. The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system is also widely considered the most stable and user-friendly interface for GCC drivers compared to the Italian or British alternatives.

Running Costs & Resale

The 911 Carrera is a standout performer for value retention in the GCC, typically depreciating far slower than its executive luxury rivals. Real-world fuel consumption for the updated 388 hp engine averages approximately 10.1 L/100km, making it surprisingly efficient for long-distance drives between Emirates. Authorized service centers are extensively available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with recommended oil service every 15,000 km or one year, though local experts often suggest 10,000 km intervals for the extreme summer heat.

Performance & Capability

The updated 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine delivers a refined 388 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 3.9 seconds when the Sport Chrono package is engaged. This 992.2 update focuses on mid-range torque, providing effortless overtaking power on the E11 or Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. The 8-speed PDK transmission remains the industry standard, offering lightning-fast shifts in its most aggressive modes while remaining perfectly smooth in stop-start traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The 2025 interior moves to a fully digital cockpit, reflecting the modern aesthetic preferred by GCC buyers while retaining the classic horizontal dashboard lines. Dual-zone climate control is engineered to handle 45°C+ summer temperatures with ease, and the 2+2 seating configuration offers essential practical space for bags or younger children. The new start button, now placed on the left, and the standard mode-select dial on the steering wheel ensure all vital controls are within an inch of the driver's hands.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include the innovative 'Porsche Wet Mode,' which is specifically tuned to detect water on the road and recalibrate stability systems—a vital feature for the sudden, heavy rain events seen in the region. It also features a comprehensive suite of airbags and advanced driver assistance systems, including Front and Rear ParkAssist with a reversing camera. The High-Definition Matrix LED headlights provide exceptional visibility for night-time desert highway driving, adapting the beam to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a brand-new 992.2 without the long dealership waiting list, this 485 km Carrera is the smartest entry point into the 2025 Porsche lineup.
