Summary

This 2023 Yaris E is a practical choice for UAE commuters, offering modern tech in a white exterior—the most sought-after resale color in the GCC. With a 1.5-litre engine that is perfectly balanced for city agility and highway efficiency, it stands out for its low running costs and legendary Toyota reliability. As a three-year-old vehicle with average mileage for the region, it presents a stable ownership proposition with minimal depreciation concerns. The recent redesign provides more interior room than previous generations, making it one of the most comfortable sub-compact sedans available today. For a buyer looking for a worry-free daily driver that handles the heat and heavy traffic of the Emirates with ease, this listing is a top contender.

This Car vs Other 2023 Yariss

With 63,665 km on the odometer, this Yaris has been driven roughly 21,000 km per year, which is slightly below the GCC average of 25,000 km. The white exterior is the strongest color for local resale value and helps reflect heat during peak summer months. Its mechanical condition benefits from being a GCC-spec model, ensuring the cooling system and AC are optimized for extreme regional temperatures.

E vs Lower Trims

The E trim serves as a well-equipped entry into the 2023 lineup, featuring the full 1.5-litre engine instead of the 1.3-litre found in entry-level variants in other markets. It includes essential tech like an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, providing modern connectivity that lower-spec base models often lack. While the G trim adds alloy wheels, the E trim's 15-inch steel wheels offer more affordable tire replacement costs, a practical advantage for high-mileage drivers.

Yaris vs Segment Rivals

The Yaris leads rivals like the Nissan Sunny and Hyundai Accent in fuel efficiency, achieving a notable 20.5 km/L. Its 475-litre boot is among the largest in the sub-compact class, offering more cargo flexibility than many competitors. Additionally, the Yaris benefits from the widest service network in the UAE, ensuring parts and maintenance are more accessible than for MG or Kia rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel costs remain exceptionally low thanks to the efficient CVT that helps maintain a combined consumption of roughly 4.9 L/100km. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, supported by Al Futtaim's extensive network across the UAE and similar authorized centers throughout the GCC. Historically, the Yaris holds its value better than almost any other car in its segment, with a 3-year depreciation rate significantly lower than European luxury sedans.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine delivers a reliable 105 hp, providing adequate power for overtaking on the E11 or E311 highways. Its tight 4.8-meter turning radius makes it one of the easiest cars to park in congested areas like Dubai Marina or Sharjah. The CVT is tuned specifically for smooth acceleration in stop-start city traffic, reducing the fatigue of daily commuting.

Comfort & Cabin

The 2023 redesign increased the wheelbase by 70 mm, resulting in significantly improved rear legroom for three adult passengers. The air conditioning system is engineered for the Gulf climate, featuring dedicated rear vents to keep the cabin cool quickly after being parked in the sun. The interior layout is focused on ergonomics, featuring multiple storage compartments and cup holders for long-distance drives between Emirates.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this GCC-spec E trim includes dual front SRS airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Traction Control (TRC). It also features an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) to ensure stable stopping power on sandy or wet road surfaces. ISOFIX anchor points are standard, making it a safe choice for small families.

The bottom line

This Yaris is the ideal match for a professional or small family seeking the ultimate balance of modern features and rock-solid GCC resale value. It is a rare opportunity to own a recently redesigned model that is still early in its mechanical life cycle.
