Summary

This 2024 Audi A4 35 TFSI S-Line is a standout choice for those seeking German refinement with exceptionally low running costs. With just over 11,000 km, this GCC-spec sedan is barely broken in, offering a significant advantage over the higher-mileage examples typically found in the UAE market. The Grey exterior is a high-demand, high-resale choice in the region, ensuring better value retention when it's time to upgrade. As an S-Line trim, it balances aggressive styling with a fuel-efficient powertrain that handles the daily Dubai-Abu Dhabi commute with ease. For a buyer wanting the prestige of the four rings without the overhead of a larger engine, this is a perfectly positioned opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2024 A4s

With only 11,167 km on the odometer, this A4 sits well below the GCC annual average of 20,000 km, representing a 'near-new' mechanical state. While many 2024 models in the secondary market were used as high-utilization fleet or rental vehicles, this example’s low mileage suggests careful private ownership. The Grey finish is one of the top three colors for resale value in the UAE and Saudi markets, providing a safer exit strategy than louder colors.

35 TFSI S-LINE vs Lower Trims

The S-Line package transforms the A4’s presence, adding the honeycomb grille, more aggressive bumper intakes, and side sill extensions that the standard '35' trim lacks. Inside, you benefit from the S-Line sport seats and steering wheel, which provide much better support during longer highway drives. This trim also standardizes the Audi Virtual Cockpit, a feature highly prized by GCC buyers for its high-resolution navigation and clear visibility in bright sunlight.

A4 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Audi A4 leads in ergonomic simplicity and interior material consistency. Its front-wheel-drive layout provides a more predictable and stable drive in the rare but slick rain conditions seen in the Emirates. While rivals often prioritize a stiffer, sportier ride, the A4 is tuned for refinement, making it the superior choice for stop-start traffic in Riyadh or Dubai.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.5L turbocharged engine is designed for efficiency, returning a manufacturer-official 6.1 L/100km combined, which is excellent for a premium sedan. Being GCC-spec, it is fully optimized for the region’s high-sulfur fuel and extreme heat, ensuring the cooling system remains efficient during summer peaks. Service intervals are generous at 15,000 km, and Audi’s extensive authorized network across the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait ensures parts and expertise are always accessible. Historically, the A4 maintains a stable depreciation curve in the GCC, typically retaining roughly 65-70% of its value after three years.

Performance & Capability

The 35 TFSI powertrain delivers a respectable 0-100 km/h time of 8.9 seconds, providing enough punch for confident highway merging and overtaking at speed. The 7-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission is smooth and quick, specifically mapped to keep the engine in its efficiency band during city cruising. While not a performance car in the RS sense, the Audi Drive Select allows you to sharpen the throttle and steering for a more engaging feel on well-maintained arterial roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC heat, featuring a powerful triple-zone climate control system that reaches the rear seats effectively. The S-Line sport seats are finished in premium materials that remain comfortable even during cross-border drives. Acoustic glazing helps isolate the cabin from wind noise at highway speeds, while the intuitive MMI touch display serves as a seamless hub for your smartphone via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive, featuring a suite of airbags and Audi Pre-Sense city as standard, which provides collision warnings and emergency braking. For long GCC highway stretches, the cruise control and lane departure warning systems reduce driver fatigue significantly. The electronic stability control is calibrated to handle the fine sand and dust often found on regional road shoulders, ensuring you maintain traction in all conditions.

The bottom line

This is the ideal entry point into modern German luxury for a professional who values efficiency and style; it offers a nearly-new ownership experience at a significantly more attractive price point than a showroom model.
