Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX COMFORT is a standout choice for anyone seeking a modern, high-tech SUV that feels significantly more premium than its price point suggests. While the mileage reflects an active first year of ownership, it is perfectly suited for the GCC’s high-volume highway culture where these vehicles are designed to thrive. The Grey exterior is one of the most practical and sought-after colors in the region, offering excellent heat reflection and maintaining a clean look despite the occasional desert dust. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it provides total peace of mind regarding air conditioning performance and manufacturer support across the Emirates. This model differentiates itself from rivals by offering a level of interior luxury and digital integration that usually requires a much higher investment. For a buyer looking to step into a nearly new, feature-packed crossover that balances efficiency with a sophisticated presence, this LX represents a strategic purchase in the current market.

This Car vs Other 2024 LXs

When comparing this specific unit to other 2024 models, the primary differentiator is its verified GCC specification, which ensures the cooling systems and radiator are optimized for local summer extremes. While the mileage of 72,286 km is higher than the average for a single year, it indicates a vehicle that has been primarily used for long-distance commuting between cities rather than strenuous stop-start urban traffic. In the GCC, highway kilometers are often preferred over lower-mileage city cars because the engine and transmission operate at stable temperatures with consistent airflow. The Grey paintwork is a major asset here, as it holds its value better than unconventional colors and hides the minor stone chips often associated with highway driving. This car offers the benefit of a modern 2024 platform and the latest software updates while being priced to reflect its road experience, making it a high-value entry point into the Exeed brand.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

Choosing the COMFORT trim over base alternatives significantly upgrades the daily driving experience through several key luxury and convenience additions. This trim introduces a more sophisticated digital cockpit layout that seamlessly integrates entertainment and vehicle data, a feature GCC buyers increasingly prioritize. You also gain enhanced interior materials that provide better durability against the intense UV rays common in our region. The climate control system in this trim is more advanced, offering better distribution to the rear passengers, which is essential during the peak summer months in the UAE. Furthermore, the COMFORT trim often includes upgraded wheel designs and exterior accents that give the vehicle a more commanding road presence compared to the entry-level versions. It strikes the perfect balance between essential utility and the premium feel that the Exeed brand is known for.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed LX competes in a crowded crossover segment against the likes of the Changan Uni-T and the Haval Jolion, yet it carves out its own niche through superior cabin insulation and material quality. While rivals often focus on aggressive exterior styling, the LX prioritizes a serene driving environment with significantly less wind noise at highway speeds of 120 km/h. Its 1.5L turbocharged engine is tuned for a smoother power delivery than many of its counterparts, making it a more relaxed companion for the daily commute. The fuel tank capacity is generous for its size, allowing for fewer stops on long cross-country trips compared to some of the smaller-tank competitors in this class. Additionally, the integration of the infotainment system feels more cohesive and intuitive than the often-cluttered interfaces found in other budget-friendly SUVs. For the GCC buyer, the LX offers a more 'European' driving feel and aesthetic than most of its direct regional rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Running an Exeed LX in the GCC is notably economical thanks to its efficient 1.5L four-cylinder engine, which averages approximately 6.6 to 7.2 liters per 100 km depending on your mix of city and highway driving. This efficiency is a major advantage given the frequent long-distance travel common in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The vehicle is designed to run on standard high-octane fuel available at any ENOC or ADNOC station, ensuring no specialized additives are required. Service intervals are typically set at every 10,000 km, and with the growing network of authorized service centers across the GCC, finding expert maintenance is straightforward and competitively priced. In terms of resale, the brand is seeing a steady climb in trust and demand, with the LX holding roughly 80-85% of its value after the first two years, which is impressive for a newer entrant to the market. The GCC spec status further protects this value, as it remains the preferred choice for second-hand buyers.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this LX is its 1.5L turbocharged engine, which provides a punchy and responsive driving experience that is particularly useful for overtaking on the E11 or E311 highways. The automatic transmission is tuned for smoothness, ensuring that gear changes are almost imperceptible during relaxed cruising. As a front-wheel-drive SUV, it offers predictable and stable handling, making it easy to maneuver through tight urban parking structures in Dubai or Riyadh. The ground clearance is generous enough to handle speed bumps and uneven gravel tracks with ease, providing that elevated SUV perspective that drivers in this region value for safety and visibility. While it is not a desert dune basher, its capability on paved roads and light trails is exceptional, offering a composed ride even when the vehicle is fully loaded with passengers and luggage. The 0-100 km/h performance is competitive for its class, ensuring you never feel underpowered when merging into fast-moving traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Exeed LX COMFORT offers a five-seat layout that punches well above its weight in terms of design and ergonomics. The seats are contoured to provide support during long drives across the Emirates, finished in materials that remain comfortable even after the car has been parked in the sun. The air conditioning system is a highlight, specifically engineered for the GCC to bring the cabin temperature down rapidly from 45°C to a comfortable level within minutes. Rear passengers are well-catered for with dedicated air vents and sufficient legroom for adults, making it a viable family vehicle for weekend trips. The cabin is also remarkably quiet, with acoustic shielding that keeps the roar of the highway and the heat of the external environment at bay. High-quality digital screens dominate the dashboard, providing a futuristic feel while remaining easy to use even while driving. Storage is ample, with a well-shaped boot that easily accommodates a week’s worth of groceries or several suitcases for a trip to the airport.

Safety

Safety is a cornerstone of the Exeed LX philosophy, evidenced by its high safety ratings and comprehensive suite of active driver aids. This COMFORT trim includes essential systems like Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control, which are vital for maintaining grip during rare rain spells or on sandy road shoulders. The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) provide an extra layer of protection, with features like blind-spot monitoring proving invaluable on the multi-lane highways of the GCC. Multiple airbags are strategically placed throughout the cabin to protect all five occupants in the event of a collision. Furthermore, the car’s structural integrity is designed to meet international standards, providing a rigid safety cell for all passengers. The inclusion of high-definition parking cameras and sensors makes navigating tight spots stress-free, ensuring that both the vehicle and those around it remain safe in busy urban environments.

The bottom line

This 2024 Exeed LX is the ideal choice for a tech-savvy professional or a small family who wants the luxury and safety features of a premium SUV without the high price tag. Its GCC-ready cooling and proven highway reliability make it a smart, low-risk purchase for anyone looking to maximize value in the current used market.
