Summary

This 2024 Exeed TXL represents a sophisticated choice for buyers seeking premium technology and modern design without the steep depreciation of European luxury brands. Despite its relatively recent model year, this vehicle has been actively utilized, making it an ideal candidate for someone who prioritizes current-generation features and a manufacturer-backed GCC specification. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the region, masking desert dust effectively while maintaining strong resale appeal. As a premium sub-brand, Exeed offers a level of interior refinement and material quality that genuinely challenges established luxury players in the SUV segment. For a GCC buyer, the combination of a fuel-efficient 1.6L turbocharged engine and a tech-heavy cabin provides a balanced daily driving experience. This specific listing is particularly attractive for those who want a nearly new aesthetic and modern safety suite at a more accessible entry point in the pre-owned market.

This Car vs Other 2024 TXLs

When comparing this specific 2024 Exeed TXL to others on the market, the primary differentiator is its mileage. While 75,910 km is higher than the average annual GCC usage of 20,000 to 25,000 km, it indicates a vehicle that has been primarily used for long-distance highway commuting between emirates rather than stop-start city traffic. In the GCC, highway kilometers are often considered less taxing on the engine and transmission compared to the heat-soak associated with urban idling. The Grey exterior provides a significant advantage for local owners, as it retains its luster better than darker shades under the intense Arabian sun and is easier to maintain than white. Choosing a 2024 model ensures you are getting the latest iteration of Exeed's design language and software updates. This vehicle has clearly been a reliable partner for its first owner, and its GCC specification ensures it was built to handle the unique cooling requirements of the region.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The COMFORT trim on the Exeed TXL is deceptively well-equipped, often surpassing the 'mid-range' offerings of its direct competitors. While it serves as an accessible entry into the Exeed lineup, it retains the core luxury DNA that defines the brand, including the impressive dual-screen panoramic dashboard. Buyers in the GCC will appreciate that even in this trim, the climate control system is exceptionally robust, designed specifically to combat 45°C+ summer days. You also benefit from a comprehensive 360-degree camera system which is essential for navigating tight parking spots in Dubai or Riyadh. Unlike base models in other brands, this trim includes high-quality synthetic leather upholstery that is perforated for better breathability in hot weather. It also features the full suite of advanced driver assistance systems, meaning you don't have to sacrifice safety for value.

TXL vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed TXL competes in a crowded crossover segment against rivals like the Haval H6, Changan CS75 Plus, and even entry-level European crossovers. Where the TXL leads is in its 'Premium Plus' positioning, offering a cabin environment that feels significantly more upscale than the Haval or Changan. Its 1.6L turbocharged engine is a marvel of efficiency, providing a better balance of power-to-fuel consumption than the larger, thirstier engines found in some American rivals. For the GCC driver who spends hours on the E11 or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, the TXL offers superior noise insulation and cabin quietness compared to its immediate peers. The integration of technology is also more seamless, with a software interface that feels modern and responsive. Furthermore, the TXL’s physical footprint provides a 'just right' size—large enough for family road trips across the border to Oman, yet agile enough for congested city centers.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.6L turbocharged engine is designed to run efficiently on 95 or 98 octane fuel, which is readily available across all ADNOC and ENOC stations in the UAE. In real-world GCC conditions, you can expect a combined fuel economy of approximately 7.5 to 8.2 liters per 100km, making it one of the more economical choices in the mid-size SUV class. Maintenance is straightforward, with Exeed’s growing service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait ensuring parts availability is no longer a concern for owners. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, involving standard oil changes and filter replacements that are competitively priced within the segment. Regarding resale, the Exeed brand is rapidly gaining trust in the GCC market, which is stabilizing its depreciation curve. While it may not hold value as stubbornly as a Toyota, its modern features and GCC-specific cooling systems make it a highly liquid asset on the used market compared to non-GCC spec imports.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this TXL is its 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which produces a surprising amount of torque for its size, ensuring confident overtaking on fast-moving highways. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is tuned for smoothness, providing nearly imperceptible shifts during long-distance cruises between cities. With a front-wheel-drive configuration, this SUV is optimized for fuel efficiency and urban agility rather than heavy dune bashing, though its generous ground clearance allows for confident driving on gravel tracks and unpaved parking areas common in developing communities. The suspension is tuned for comfort, absorbing the minor imperfections of older roads while remaining planted at the 120-140 km/h speeds typical of UAE motorways. It handles the extreme summer heat without a drop in performance, thanks to an oversized radiator and cooling fans specified for the Middle East market. Whether you are commuting daily or taking a weekend trip to the Northern Emirates, the performance is consistent and reliable.

Comfort & Cabin

Stepping inside the TXL reveals a cabin that prioritizes a serene and technologically advanced environment. The five-seat layout offers class-leading legroom for rear passengers, making it a viable choice for families with growing children or for those who occasionally carry executive colleagues. The air conditioning system is a standout feature, with rear vents that ensure the entire cabin reaches a comfortable temperature within minutes of starting the car in mid-July. The dual 12.3-inch screens create a cockpit feel that is both futuristic and functional, supporting seamless smartphone integration. Sound insulation has been a focus for Exeed, with acoustic glass and extensive dampening material used to keep wind noise to a minimum during high-speed travel. The boot space is cavernous for its class, easily swallowing several large suitcases or a week's worth of family groceries, and the fold-flat rear seats provide further versatility for transporting larger items.

Safety

Safety is where the Exeed TXL truly shines, having been designed to meet 5-star safety standards with a high-strength steel cage construction. This COMFORT trim is equipped with an array of active safety features that are particularly beneficial in the GCC, such as Blind Spot Detection, which is a lifesaver on the multi-lane highways of Dubai and Riyadh. The Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist systems turn long, monotonous desert drives into much safer, less fatiguing experiences. Furthermore, the vehicle features multiple airbags, including side curtains that protect both front and rear occupants. The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is calibrated to handle various surfaces, including the occasional sand-blown tarmac or slippery wet roads during the winter rains. With front and rear parking sensors coupled with the high-definition camera, the TXL ensures you are aware of your surroundings at all times.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a 2024 model year SUV with premium European-style tech and a comprehensive safety suite, this GCC-spec Exeed TXL is a brilliant value proposition. It offers the luxury feel of a much more expensive vehicle while remaining efficient and practical for the daily GCC commute.
