Summary

This 2025 Exeed LX Flagship represents a compelling opportunity in the GCC market, offering the highest available trim level for Chery’s premium sub-brand. As a late-model SUV with mileage reflecting steady regional use, it provides a significantly more modern interior than established rivals at this price point. The Flagship trim is particularly desirable in the Middle East for its superior cooling performance and comprehensive tech suite. In the silver exterior finish, it is well-suited for high-heat conditions and maintains strong resale appeal across the Emirates. For a buyer seeking luxury-tier materials and advanced driver assistance without the legacy premium, this AWD-equipped crossover is a standout daily driver.

This Car vs Other 2025 Exeed LXs

With 53,000 km, this LX has seen more frequent highway use than the typical 25,000 km annual average for the UAE, yet it benefits from being the top-tier Flagship variant with all-wheel drive. The silver exterior is one of the most practical choices for the region, reflecting heat effectively and ensuring the car remains a high-demand color for the local used market. Buyers will find this specific vehicle offers a much higher equipment level than the more common base trims currently available.

Flagship vs Lower Trims

Moving up to the Flagship trim replaces the standard 1.5L engine and CVT with a punchier 1.6L turbo and a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission for a more responsive drive. It adds essential GCC features like ventilated leather seats and a panoramic sunroof, which are absent or optional on the Comfort trim. Additionally, the Flagship includes the full suite of ADAS safety technologies and a premium Sony audio system, making it the preferred choice for tech-focused drivers.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed LX competes directly with the Toyota Corolla Cross and the MG HS, leading the segment in cabin material quality and display technology with its dual 12.3-inch screens. While the Toyota is a value staple, the LX provides a more refined, luxury-leaning environment and higher horsepower figures for overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. Its intelligent all-wheel-drive system also offers better stability on gravel and wet surfaces compared to front-wheel-drive-only competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.6L turbocharged engine averages approximately 7.5 to 8.5 L/100km in mixed GCC driving conditions, making it efficient for city commuting in Dubai or Riyadh. Exeed has rapidly expanded its authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with a major parts distribution hub in Dubai ensuring fast availability for maintenance. While it faces steeper initial depreciation than Japanese brands, the remainder of the 7-year manufacturer warranty provides significant value protection for the second owner.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with 197 hp and 290 Nm of torque, this SUV achieves 0-100 km/h in 8.8 seconds, providing confident acceleration for highway merging. The All-Wheel Drive system is paired with selectable drive modes, allowing the driver to optimize traction for sand, mud, or eco-driving. Its 51-liter fuel tank is well-sized for the compact segment, offering a range suitable for cross-emirate road trips between Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the extreme Middle Eastern summer, featuring ventilated front seats and a high-output climate control system with dedicated rear vents. The interior is defined by dual panoramic digital displays and premium ambient lighting that creates an executive atmosphere during evening drives. Acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from wind noise during high-speed highway cruising, while the 351-liter boot provides ample space for family groceries or weekend luggage.

Safety

Standard safety on the Flagship trim includes a full ADAS suite with Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keep Assist, and Autonomous Emergency Braking, which are vital for multi-lane GCC traffic. The 360-degree camera system makes parking in tight urban spaces significantly easier, while the 6-airbag system provides comprehensive occupant protection. The vehicle also features high-strength steel construction and electronic stability control tuned for regional road surfaces.

The bottom line

This 2025 Flagship AWD is the ideal choice for a professional looking for a feature-rich, modern SUV that handles UAE highway speeds with ease and offers premium comfort at a fraction of the cost of European alternatives.
