Summary

This 2024 Dashing Luxury presents a sharp opportunity for buyers seeking a high-tech, contemporary SUV without the premium price tag of established rivals. With just two years of vehicle age and mileage that is notably low for the GCC market, it remains well within its mechanical prime for daily commuting. The Black exterior is a perennially strong resale choice in the region, pairing perfectly with the model's futuristic aesthetic and hidden door handles. As a Luxury trim, it offers the full suite of comfort features that GCC drivers value most, including dedicated cooling for the front seats and a large panoramic roof. For a buyer looking to step into a 2024 model that feels nearly new, this unit offers a compelling balance of modern tech and regional suitability.

This Car vs Other 2024 Dashings

With only 37,478 km on the odometer, this Dashing has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. At two years old, it represents a 'sweet spot' in the used market—avoiding the heaviest initial depreciation while retaining a crisp, well-maintained feel. The Black finish is a safe and high-demand color in the GCC, ensuring easier resale compared to brighter, less conventional palettes.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim is a significant step up from the base Comfort model, adding features that are essential for the local climate and driving style. It introduces ventilated front seats to combat the extreme GCC summer heat and a 360-degree surround-view camera system for easier navigation in tight urban parking. You also benefit from an upgraded 8-speaker Sony audio system and intelligent cruise control, features often omitted on lower-tier variants.

Dashing vs Segment Rivals

The Dashing holds a distinct technology lead over rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, offering a much larger infotainment interface and a more futuristic interior design. Its 1.6-litre turbocharged engine provides 197 hp, giving it a performance edge for highway overtaking compared to the naturally aspirated options found in many compact crossovers. While rivals focus on traditional layouts, the Dashing emphasizes a 'smart cockpit' experience that appeals to tech-focused GCC buyers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption in mixed GCC driving typically averages around 9.7 L/100km, though highway cruising can be even more efficient. Authorized service centers are well-established across major UAE cities, with service intervals recommended every 10,000 km to ensure the turbocharger and 7-speed DCT remain in peak condition. As a newer brand, it sees a depreciation rate of roughly 15-20% annually, which is slightly higher than Japanese rivals but offset by its significantly lower entry price and high standard spec.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-litre turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 290 Nm of torque, making it feel responsive during stop-start city traffic and confident when merging onto fast-moving multi-lane highways. It features selectable drive modes including Eco and Sport, allowing you to prioritize efficiency during the daily commute or sharpen throttle response for weekend drives. The front-wheel-drive layout is perfectly suited for the paved roads and inter-city highways of the Emirates, providing a stable and quiet 36dB library-level cabin experience.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed around a long 2,720 mm wheelbase, which translates to impressive rear legroom for a compact SUV. GCC-specific comforts are a priority here, featuring a powerful air conditioning system with dedicated rear vents and a cooled center console to keep beverages chilled. The large panoramic sunroof adds an airy feel to the interior, while the synthetic leather seats are durable and easy to maintain even with frequent family use.

Safety

This Luxury trim comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Warning, which are invaluable for staying safe on long, monotonous desert highways. The 360-degree camera system provides a 540-degree 'transparent chassis' view to help avoid high curbs and obstacles, complemented by six airbags and electronic stability control standard. These active systems provide a layer of security that often surpasses the basic safety kits found in entry-level segment competitors.

The bottom line

This Jetour Dashing is the ideal choice for a young professional or small family who wants a 2024 vehicle with low mileage and premium tech features without paying a luxury brand premium. Its excellent condition and high specification make it one of the most competitive modern crossovers currently available in the GCC used market.
