Summary

This 2024 Lamborghini Urus Performante represents the sharpest edge of the Super SUV segment, offering a track-honed experience that stands apart from the standard Urus S. With its mileage sitting slightly above the typical annual average for high-performance exotics in the UAE, it has been driven as intended while benefiting from the robust engineering of the Performante's fixed-spring suspension. The European specification ensures a high level of interior finish, though buyers should verify service history with local authorized centers to ensure maintenance continuity. As a Performante, this car holds a higher resale premium in the GCC market compared to the base model, particularly for enthusiasts seeking the most aggressive driving dynamics available. It remains the definitive choice for those who demand supercar performance without sacrificing the practicality required for regional highway travel.

This Car vs Other 2024 Urus Performantes

With 29,303 km, this Urus Performante has seen more road time than typical 'garage queen' examples, which often stay under 10,000 km annually in the GCC. However, this mileage is well within the healthy operating range for the 4.0L V8, especially given the highway-heavy nature of UAE driving. The unique exterior color offers a distinct alternative to the common black and white palette, appealing to buyers looking for a standout aesthetic in the local market.

PERFORMANTE vs Lower Trims

The Performante trim is significantly more focused than the Urus S, trading adaptive air suspension for lowered, fixed steel springs and a wider track for superior flat cornering. It sheds 47 kg through extensive use of carbon fiber—including a standard carbon fiber hood—and features a unique 'Rally' drive mode specifically tuned for loose surfaces. Additionally, the Performante comes standard with a titanium Akrapovič exhaust system, providing a sharper and more visceral acoustic profile than the standard trim.

Urus vs Segment Rivals

The Urus Performante competes directly with the Aston Martin DBX707 and the Ferrari Purosangue. While the Aston Martin offers slightly higher peak horsepower, the Lamborghini leads in brand presence and service network density across the GCC, particularly in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Compared to the Purosangue, the Urus provides significantly more cargo versatility and a more intuitive dual-screen infotainment system, making it a more practical choice for daily regional use.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the Performante averages approximately 14.1 L/100km (WLTP), though intensive GCC city traffic can see this rise toward 17 L/100km. Service intervals are recommended every 15,000 km or annually, with major authorized service centers well-established across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh. The Performante trim historically retains value better than the standard Urus, depreciating at approximately 12–15% annually in the GCC, compared to the steeper curves seen by rivals like the DBX.

Performance & Capability

The Performante’s headline figure is its 3.3-second 0–100 km/h sprint, enabled by a 666 CV twin-turbo V8 and an optimized Torsen central differential that sends more torque to the rear wheels. Its top speed of 306 km/h makes it one of the fastest production SUVs on the planet, ideal for effortless overtaking on the E11. While its lower, stiffer suspension is optimized for tarmac, the dedicated Rally mode allows for high-speed stability on gravel and flat sand tracks.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Performante features a driver-centric layout heavily upholstered in Alcantara to reduce glare and improve grip during spirited driving. Despite its track focus, it retains a 5-seat configuration with 616 liters of boot space, suitable for family errands or weekend trips between Emirates. The cabin is well-insulated against the GCC summer heat, featuring high-output air conditioning systems and the signature Lamborghini 'Tamburo' drive mode selector for instant atmosphere adjustments.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the Performante includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree camera system for navigating tight urban parking. The vehicle is equipped with massive 440mm carbon-ceramic brakes at the front—some of the largest ever fitted to a production car—ensuring immense stopping power that resists fade even in extreme desert temperatures.

The bottom line

This 2024 Urus Performante is the ideal match for a buyer who wants the most capable, track-ready SUV on the market without the long wait times for a new allocation. It offers a rare opportunity to own the current pinnacle of the Urus line in a distinctive specification that is ready for immediate GCC road use.
