Summary

This 2024 718 Boxster is a standout opportunity, offering exceptionally low mileage for a vehicle in the GCC market, where yearly averages often exceed 20,000 km. The Grey exterior is one of the most resilient colors for resale across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, providing a sophisticated look that holds its value better than louder shades. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from the full authorized Porsche service network and cooling systems optimized for the regional heat. This roadster perfectly balances Porsche's legendary mid-engine handling with everyday reliability, making it a savvy choice for the discerning regional enthusiast.

This Car vs Other 2024 718 Boxsters

With just 16,544 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical 25,000 km annual average for used sports cars in the UAE. This low usage translates to significantly less wear on the convertible top seals and cooling components, which are often stressed by the harsh GCC summer. The Agate Grey metallic finish is a highly sought-after secondary market color in the region, ensuring faster resale compared to niche exterior colors.

Standard vs Lower Trims

While the 718 range begins with the Standard trim, it is far from basic, featuring a turbocharged 2.0-liter boxer engine that outperforms many rivals' mid-range offerings. It includes essential GCC features such as dual-zone automatic climate control and a power-operated soft top that cycles in just 9 seconds. The inclusion of the 7-speed PDK automatic transmission in this listing provides faster shifts and better stop-start efficiency in Dubai or Riyadh traffic than the manual alternative.

718 Boxster vs Segment Rivals

The 718 Boxster leads rivals like the BMW Z4 and Jaguar F-Type through its superior mid-engine weight distribution, providing a level of cornering agility that is unique in this segment. Its dual-trunk design (front and rear) offers more practical storage for weekend trips to Fujairah than most traditional roadsters. Furthermore, Porsche's build quality is widely recognized in the GCC for lasting longer under extreme temperatures compared to its British or Italian counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

Expect a combined fuel consumption of approximately 7.9 L/100km, making it surprisingly efficient for highway commutes between Emirates. Porsche maintains one of the strongest value retention rates in the luxury segment across the GCC, typically depreciating less than 15% in its first two years when maintained at authorized centers like Al Nabooda or Ali & Sons. Service intervals are generally every 15,000 km or one year, ensuring predictable maintenance costs.

Performance & Capability

The 300 hp turbocharged engine delivers a prompt 0–100 km/h sprint of 4.9 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. With a top track speed of 275 km/h, the 718 Boxster remains stable and refined at the legal limit, supported by a mid-engine layout that keeps the car planted. The PDK transmission is specifically tuned to handle the high-torque demands of aggressive driving while remaining smooth in dense urban traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cockpit is focused entirely on the driver, featuring partial leather upholstery and the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with Apple CarPlay. The air conditioning is engineered to reach cabin-chill quickly, a vital feature for the 45°C+ summer months. Despite its compact footprint, the cabin offers generous legroom and high-quality insulation that keeps wind noise minimal even with the top up during long desert drives.

Safety

Standard safety features include Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with ABS and extended brake functions, which are crucial for maintaining control on sandy or oily road surfaces. This trim also includes front and rear ParkAssist to help navigate tight urban parking spots. The high-strength steel roll-over protection and a comprehensive six-airbag system ensure maximum protection in the event of an incident.

The bottom line

For the UAE buyer seeking a near-new Porsche experience without the new-car depreciation, this low-mileage, GCC-spec 718 Boxster in a high-resale color is the ideal entry point into the brand's performance legacy.
