Summary

This 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera S represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a nearly-new 992-generation icon with just 3,000 km. Its Grey exterior is a highly desirable choice in the GCC, ensuring strong resale value and heat rejection during summer months. As an 'S' model, it sits in the sweet spot of the range, offering a significant performance leap over the base Carrera while maintaining daily drivability. For the GCC buyer, this low-mileage example provides the peace of mind of a fresh vehicle without the long waiting lists often associated with new Porsche allocations.

This Car vs Other 2024 911s

With just 3,000 km since 2024, this vehicle is significantly below the typical annual GCC mileage of 20,000 km, making it a collector-quality example of the 992.1 generation. The Grey finish is one of the top-performing resale colors in the region, offering a sophisticated look that is easier to maintain than black in dusty conditions. Given the 2-year age of the vehicle, the mechanical condition and interior wear are effectively indistinguishable from a showroom car.

CARRERA S vs Lower Trims

The Carrera S adds a substantial 64 hp over the base Carrera, utilizing larger turbochargers and upgraded intercoolers that better handle the high ambient temperatures of the GCC. It also upgrades the braking system to larger six-piston front calipers and includes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with a lower ride height as standard. These enhancements provide the chassis precision and high-speed stability that performance-oriented drivers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia prioritize.

911 vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Audi R8 or Jaguar F-Type offer different engine characters, the 911 leads the segment with its unique rear-engine layout and 2+2 seating, providing occasional-use rear space that competitors lack. Its air conditioning system is widely regarded as one of the best in the supercar class, cooling the cabin rapidly after being parked in direct sunlight. Additionally, the 911's relatively high ground clearance for a sports car makes it more practical for the varied speed bumps and entry ramps found across GCC cities.

Running Costs & Resale

The 911 Carrera S historically commands the strongest value retention of any sports car in the GCC market, typically depreciating less than 15% over its first few years. Service intervals are generally required every 15,000 km or annually, with Porsche's extensive authorized network providing expert care across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.5L/100km on combined cycles, though high-speed highway cruising across the Emirates can see even better efficiency due to the 8-speed PDK's long final gear.

Performance & Capability

The center of this car's appeal is the 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six, which delivers 443 hp and 530 Nm of torque for effortless highway overtaking. The standard 8-speed PDK transmission is lightning-fast, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint of just 3.5 seconds when equipped with the Sport Chrono package. On the long, straight highways between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the top speed of 308 km/h and exceptional high-speed refinement make it a premier grand tourer.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a mix of traditional 911 design and modern tech, featuring a central analog tachometer flanked by high-resolution digital displays. Dual-zone climate control is standard and engineered to maintain comfort even in 45°C+ heat, with highly adjustable sport seats providing excellent lumbar support for long drives. While the rear seats are best suited for luggage or small children, the front cabin feels spacious and impressively isolated from road noise.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Porsche Wet Mode, which uses acoustic sensors in the front wheel wells to detect water and pre-condition the stability control for slippery surfaces—a vital feature for the region's intense rain showers. It also features a full suite of airbags and advanced braking systems including Brake Assist and electronic EBD. For night driving on unlit desert roads, the powerful LED lighting system provides exceptional visibility and range.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who wants the definitive 911 experience, this ultra-low-mileage Carrera S offers the perfect balance of supercar performance and daily usability with significant resale protection.
