• 348 hp from a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6
• 90-litre fuel tank standard

Summary

This 2024 Porsche Cayenne offers a significant step up in modern technology and interior refinement following the major facelift of this model year. With just over 56,000 km, it sits slightly above the average mileage for its age in the GCC, but its mechanical robustness and GCC-specific cooling systems make it perfectly suited for high-mileage desert highway commuting. The deep Blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that maintains strong desirability in the local used market compared to standard monochromatic shades. As the updated 2024 version, it features the Taycan-inspired digital cockpit that makes older Cayennes feel dated instantly. This is the ideal entry point for a buyer who wants the prestige of the Porsche badge paired with the latest in-cabin technology and a powertrain optimized for the region's climate.

This Car vs Other 2024 Cayennes

At 56,700 km, this vehicle has been driven more than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the UAE, suggesting it has spent much of its life on the open highways between Emirates. Highway mileage is generally preferred by savvy GCC buyers over low-mileage city cars that endure constant stop-start heat cycles. The Blue metallic finish is a premium aesthetic choice that stands out in a sea of white SUVs, helping it hold value better at trade-in.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

For 2024, the 'Standard' trim is the entry point but comes exceptionally well-equipped compared to base trims of previous years, now featuring the Matrix LED headlights and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. It includes the new 12.3-inch central touchscreen and a fully digital 12.6-inch instrument cluster that were previously reserved for higher-spec models. This trim provides the perfect balance of Porsche's driving dynamics without the extreme maintenance costs of the Turbo or GTS variants.

Cayenne vs Segment Rivals

The Cayenne is frequently cross-shopped against the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE, but it leads the segment in pure driving engagement and chassis poise. While rivals focus on soft luxury, the Cayenne's 90-litre fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for long-distance drives across the GCC. Its cooling system is widely regarded as one of the most effective for maintaining cabin comfort during extreme 45°C+ summer peaks.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the turbocharged V6 typically averages around 10.8 L/100km, though this can rise in heavy Dubai or Riyadh traffic. Service intervals are generally every 15,000 km, and Porsche’s authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring high resale confidence. The 2024 model year represents the current generation, meaning it will depreciate significantly slower over the next three years than the pre-facelift 2023 models.

Performance & Capability

The updated 3.0-litre V6 produces a verified 348 hp, allowing the Cayenne to reach a top speed of 248 km/h. On GCC highways, the 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission provides seamless overtaking power, while the sophisticated All-Wheel Drive system ensures stability during occasional sand-blown road conditions. Despite its luxury focus, it retains a braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg, making it a capable companion for weekend trips to the coast with a boat or trailer.

Comfort & Cabin

The 2024 refresh introduces a cleaner, more digital interior with a gear selector moved to the dashboard, freeing up space for a cooled smartphone charging tray—essential in the GCC heat. The cabin features dual-zone climate control with powerful airflow specifically designed to cool the large SUV volume quickly. Passengers enjoy leather upholstery and a 10-speaker premium audio system as standard, providing a serene environment for long-haul drives between cities.

Safety

The 2024 Cayenne comes standard with an advanced safety suite including Forward Collision Mitigation and Lane Departure Mitigation, which are crucial for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alerts provide extra security during city parking and lane changes. The Matrix LED headlights offer superior nighttime visibility on unlit desert roads, adjusting automatically to avoid dazzling other drivers.

The bottom line

This 2024 Cayenne is the perfect choice for a professional looking for the latest Porsche technology and a sharp, modern look while the car is still in the early, most desirable part of its life cycle.
