Summary

This 2024 Subaru Crosstrek in refined Grey represents a modern, safety-focused choice for the GCC driver, offering just 22,000 km of use. While it originates from Canadian specifications, the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and efficient 2.0L engine are perfectly suited for navigating both rainy coastal routes and sandy urban environments. This specific trim includes Subaru’s celebrated EyeSight suite, providing peace of mind on the fast-paced highways of the UAE and beyond. Its compact footprint makes it a breeze to park in dense city centers like Dubai or Riyadh, yet the generous ground clearance ensures you aren't limited to the pavement. For a buyer seeking a nearly new crossover with exceptional visibility and legendary mechanical grip, this is a standout opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2024 Subaru Crosstreks

With only 22,000 km on the odometer, this Crosstrek sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, offering a clear advantage in mechanical longevity. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the region, resisting the visible effects of fine desert dust better than darker tones while maintaining strong resale appeal. As a 2024 model, it benefits from the latest chassis refinements and interior tech upgrades found in the current generation.

L EYESIGHT vs Lower Trims

The L EyeSight trim is a significant step up from the base Convenience model, most notably through the inclusion of the full EyeSight Driver Assist suite. This adds critical safety layers like Adaptive Cruise Control and Pre-Collision Braking, which are highly valued in the GCC for managing high-speed highway traffic. It also typically features upgraded interior materials and enhanced infotainment connectivity compared to the entry-level configurations.

Subaru Crosstrek vs Segment Rivals

The Crosstrek stands apart from rivals like the Hyundai Tucson and Kia Seltos by offering Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as standard, providing superior stability on gravel and during sudden seasonal rains. Its 220 mm ground clearance is notably higher than many in the compact class, allowing it to handle light desert trails where competitors often struggle. Furthermore, the Boxer engine's low center of gravity provides a more planted feel during high-speed cornering on cloverleaf interchanges.

Running Costs & Resale

Subaru maintains a strong reputation for durability in the Middle East, with an authorized service network that ensures reliable parts availability across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The 2.0L powertrain is impressively efficient, delivering a combined 7.2 L/100km, which keeps running costs low even with the frequent AC use required by the local climate. While Canadian spec cars may face different warranty terms than GCC-spec units, Subaru's global parts commonality ensures that routine maintenance remains straightforward at local specialist centers.

Performance & Capability

The 155 hp Boxer engine is paired with a smooth CVT, delivering a refined driving experience that excels in stop-start city traffic. With a top speed of approximately 198 km/h and a 0–100 km/h time of roughly 10.5 seconds, it provides sufficient power for confident highway merging and overtaking. The standard X-MODE system optimizes the engine and AWD system for maximum traction, making it surprisingly capable for weekend escapes to the wadis or sandy tracks.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Crosstrek offers a focused five-seat layout with excellent outward visibility, a hallmark of Subaru design that aids safety in busy multi-lane traffic. The dual-zone automatic climate control is robust, essential for maintaining cabin comfort during the peak summer months. Despite its compact exterior, the 310-litre boot expands significantly with flat-folding rear seats, accommodating everything from grocery runs to outdoor gear for a trip to Jebel Jais.

Safety

Safety is the Crosstrek’s primary calling card, headlined by the EyeSight system which acts as a second pair of eyes on the road. Standard features include Lane Keep Assist, Lead Vehicle Start Alert, and Pre-Collision Throttle Management, which are particularly effective at preventing accidents in heavy commuter traffic. The vehicle’s high-strength steel frame and comprehensive airbag system have earned it top safety ratings globally, making it a premier choice for safety-conscious families.

The bottom line

This low-mileage 2024 Crosstrek is the ideal match for an urban professional or small family who needs a reliable, go-anywhere daily driver with the best safety tech in its class.
