Summary

This 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce is an exceptional find for the GCC market, showing just 24 km on the odometer. As a one-year-old vehicle with delivery-level mileage, it offers a significant advantage over typical high-use sedans in the region while retaining its full mechanical lifespan. The white exterior is a top-tier choice for UAE resale, reflecting heat efficiently and holding value better than darker alternatives. The Veloce trim provides the perfect balance of Italian sportiness and daily usability, standing out from German rivals with its more emotive chassis tuning. For a buyer in the GCC, this represents a rare opportunity to own a virtually new Giulia without the initial depreciation hit of a showroom purchase.

This Car vs Other 2025 Giulias

With only 24 km, this Giulia's mileage is effectively zero compared to the GCC annual average of 20,000 km, making it a pristine 'delivery mileage' example. Most used 2025 models in the local market will have already begun their heavy highway commutes between emirates, whereas this vehicle remains in showroom condition. The white paintwork is the most practical and sought-after color in the region, ensuring maximum appeal when it eventually returns to the used market.

VELOCE vs Lower Trims

The Veloce trim significantly elevates the Giulia experience over the Sprint or Ti variants by adding 19-inch diamond-cut alloys and a more aggressive aero kit. Inside, GCC buyers benefit from sports leather seats with power-adjustable bolsters and a premium audio system that is often an optional extra on lower trims. It also includes the Q2 limited-slip differential as standard, providing sharper handling on the winding roads of Jebel Jais or the mountain passes of Hatta.

Giulia vs Segment Rivals

The Giulia leads segment rivals like the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class in steering precision and driver engagement, thanks to its lightweight Giorgio platform. While rivals often feel clinically engineered, the Alfa provides a more visceral connection to the road that enthusiasts in the UAE appreciate. Its 480-litre boot is highly competitive for the class, easily accommodating golf sets or luggage for weekend trips across the border to Oman.

Running Costs & Resale

This GCC-spec model benefits from a robust regional service network, primarily centered in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts and expert technicians are readily available. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 12 months, which is standard for premium European sedans in our climate. While Italian cars traditionally face steeper depreciation than Japanese alternatives, the Veloce trim in white is the most resilient variant for value retention in the GCC. The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine offers a fuel-efficient alternative for stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai while maintaining 200 hp for highway overtaking.

Performance & Capability

The 200 hp turbocharged engine is perfectly suited for the GCC's fast-moving highway network, offering smooth torque delivery through an 8-speed automatic transmission. Its front-wheel-drive setup ensures stable, predictable handling on the sand-dusted asphalt often found on desert-fringe roads. The Integrated Brake System (IBS) provides exceptional stopping power, a critical safety factor for the high-speed environments common in the region. Multiple drive modes allow the driver to soften the suspension for long-distance comfort or sharpen the response for spirited drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed with a driver-centric layout featuring high-quality leather and aluminum inserts that remain cool to the touch even in the summer heat. Powerful dual-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents ensures all five passengers stay comfortable during the peak of the GCC summer. Acoustic glass is standard on this trim, providing a quiet sanctuary from external wind noise during 140 km/h highway cruises. The 8.8-inch touchscreen is seamlessly integrated into the dashboard, maintaining the sleek Italian aesthetic.

Safety

This Giulia comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite that is particularly useful for local driving, including Active Blind Spot Assist for multi-lane highways and Forward Collision Warning with autonomous braking. Adaptive Cruise Control helps reduce driver fatigue on the long desert stretches between cities. Standard safety features also include Lane Keep Assist and a Rear Cross Path Detection system, providing 360-degree awareness in busy urban parking environments.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the flair of an Alfa Romeo with the peace of mind of a delivery-mileage car, this GCC-spec Veloce is the smartest way to enter the 2025 model year.
