Summary

This 2025 BMW M5 represents the pinnacle of the seventh-generation G90, featuring the debut of the electrified M Hybrid powertrain. With only one year of age and 25,000 km, this white executive sedan is in its prime, offering a high-resale exterior color that remains the most sought-after in the UAE market. It bridges the gap between a silent daily commuter and a 727 hp track-capable beast, making it a unique proposition for those who want supercar performance with modern efficiency. For the GCC buyer, the standard M xDrive system ensures incredible traction on high-speed desert highways and in varied road conditions.

This Car vs Other 2025 M5s

With 25,000 km on the odometer, this M5 is exactly in line with the expected annual mileage for a daily-driven performance sedan in the GCC. While many M cars are kept as weekend toys, this one's mileage proves its reliability and mechanical readiness for the local climate. The Alpine White exterior is the strongest resale color in the region, ensuring it will hold its value better than more experimental shades.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the top-tier 5 Series, the M5 comes standard with features that are optional or unavailable on lower trims, including the 727 hp M Hybrid system and the M-specific Curved Display with iDrive 8.5. This trim adds 4-zone climate control, which is essential for GCC summers, and the high-end Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system. You also get the M Driver's Package, which raises the top speed to 305 km/h, a standard inclusion for GCC launch editions.

M5 vs Segment Rivals

The M5 leads the Audi RS6 and Mercedes-AMG E63 S in the transition to electrification, offering up to 69 km of silent electric range that its rivals currently lack. While it is heavier than the previous generation, its 1,000 Nm of torque provides superior rolling acceleration, making it more effective for highway overtaking. It also features a larger 18.6 kWh battery compared to most performance hybrids, allowing for genuine fuel-free city driving.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption is remarkably low for this power class, rated at approximately 1.7L/100km (WLTP) when the battery is utilized, though expect traditional V8 consumption in sport modes. BMW's authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia is extensive, with standard service intervals of 12,000 km or 12 months. This model is expected to follow the typical European luxury depreciation of 12-15% annually, but the rare hybrid status may stabilize its value as the UAE moves toward more sustainable transport.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is 727 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, delivered through an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. The 0–100 km/h sprint takes just 3.5 seconds, but the real advantage is the M xDrive system, which can be switched to 2WD mode for a traditional rear-wheel-drive experience. Adaptive M suspension is standard, allowing the car to transition from a comfortable long-distance cruiser between emirates to a sharp performance tool.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features 5 seats upholstered in extended Merino leather, with M Multifunction seats that offer heating and ventilation to combat extreme heat. The cabin is exceptionally well-insulated and features a 4-zone automatic climate control system with dedicated rear vents. Technology is dominated by the BMW Curved Display, which integrates performance data like drift analysis and lap timers alongside luxury navigation features.

Safety

Standard safety includes the full Driving Assistant Professional suite, featuring adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and lane-keeping assistance, which are invaluable for long desert highway drives. The car also features a 360° Surround View camera system and Active Blind Spot Detection to assist in fast-moving multi-lane traffic. Eight airbags and a reinforced chassis designed for the extra weight of the hybrid system provide top-tier occupant protection.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own the latest generation of a legend that combines silent urban cruising with 727 hp of V8 power. For a GCC buyer looking for the most technologically advanced M5 ever made in a high-resale color, this 25,000 km example is the ideal choice.
