Summary

This 2025 BMW X7 xDrive40i offers a commanding presence and near-new performance, having covered just 24,477 km. As a latest-model-year flagship, it provides the ideal balance of BMW's refined 6-cylinder mild-hybrid power and a spacious 7-seat configuration suitable for large GCC families. The unique Green exterior makes it a sophisticated standout among the usual silver and white SUVs, offering a distinctive look while retaining the prestige of the X7 nameplate. For a buyer in the UAE or wider region, this listing represents a prime opportunity to secure a current-generation luxury SUV that is mechanically identical to showroom models but available without the wait. The combination of all-wheel-drive stability and advanced digital tech makes it a versatile daily driver for both fast-paced city commutes and long-distance cross-border trips.

This Car vs Other 2025 X7s

With just 24,477 km on the odometer, this X7 sits below the typical 25,000 km annual average for luxury SUVs in the GCC, suggesting careful use primarily for highway commuting. While American-spec vehicles are common in the UAE, this unit's low mileage and current-model-year status make it a highly competitive alternative to brand-new showroom stock. The distinctive Green paintwork offers a unique boutique appeal that differentiates it from the high volume of monochrome X7s typically found in the regional market.

Design Pure Excellence vs Lower Trims

The Design Pure Excellence trim elevates the X7’s aesthetic with chrome exterior accents and high-gloss roof rails that signal luxury over the standard base configurations. Inside, this trim typically adds multi-contour seats and the BMW Curved Display with iDrive 8.5, providing the elevated tech experience GCC buyers demand. It focuses on executive refinement and road presence, offering a more polished look than the sport-focused M Sport packages.

X7 vs Segment Rivals

The X7 leads segment rivals like the Mercedes-Benz GLS and Lexus LX in driver engagement and infotainment fluidity, thanks to the class-leading iDrive 8.5 interface. Its 83-litre fuel tank is specifically advantageous for long-distance GCC drives, such as Dubai to Salalah or Riyadh to Dammam, offering greater range than several hybrid-only competitors. The inline-six engine is widely regarded as more refined and smoother under acceleration than the turbocharged V6 units found in the latest Range Rover models.

Running Costs & Resale

The xDrive40i’s mild-hybrid system delivers a combined fuel consumption of approximately 10.7 L/100 km, offering respectable efficiency during stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals for BMW in the GCC typically occur every 10,000 km or 12 months, with a robust network of authorized service centers available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. While American-spec cars typically depreciate at a slightly higher rate than GCC-spec equivalents, the initial steep depreciation has already occurred, offering the second owner a more stable value-retention curve over the next three years.

Performance & Capability

The 3.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo engine produces 375 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 5.8 seconds—exceptional for a seven-passenger vehicle. Standard xDrive all-wheel drive and self-leveling air suspension ensure high-speed stability on the E11 highway and comfort across varying road surfaces. With a manufacturer-rated top speed of 250 km/h and selectable drive modes, the X7 effortlessly transitions from a comfortable family cruiser to a confident overtaking machine.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of GCC-essential comfort, featuring four-zone automatic climate control to ensure every passenger stays cool during the peak of summer. Seven full-sized seats provide genuine utility for large families, while the panoramic sunroof and customizable ambient lighting create an expansive, premium atmosphere. The acoustic glass and high-end insulation ensure the interior remains quiet and shielded from exterior heat and road noise during long trans-emirate journeys.

Safety

Safety is paramount with the Active Driving Assistant suite, which includes Frontal Collision Warning, Active Blind Spot Detection, and Lane Departure Warning—all vital for navigating fast-moving multi-lane GCC highways. The X7 also features a comprehensive airbag system and advanced stability control, designed to maintain traction on sandy or gravel-strewn road edges. The standard 360-degree camera system and parking sensors make maneuvering this large SUV in tight urban parking structures effortless.

The bottom line

This 2025 X7 is the perfect match for a style-conscious family seeking a near-new flagship SUV with a unique color profile and the latest BMW technology at a significant market advantage.
