Summary

This one-year-old Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max Luxury presents a compelling choice for buyers seeking modern tech at a competitive price point. The white exterior is the most preferred resale color in the GCC, ensuring it holds its value better than darker alternatives in the local used market. In a segment dominated by established names, the Tiggo 7 Pro Max stands out by offering a premium interior and a higher level of standard safety equipment than many of its rivals. For a buyer in the UAE or wider GCC, this SUV represents a reliable daily driver that manages the heat and long highway hauls with ease, thanks to its robust turbocharged engine and ventilated cabin features.

This Car vs Other 2025 Tiggo 7 Pro Maxs

With 66,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven more than the typical 25,000 km annual GCC average, suggesting regular long-distance use between emirates. While the mileage is higher for a one-year-old car, this often indicates the vehicle has been well-maintained for highway reliability rather than stressed in stop-start city traffic. The white exterior is a major advantage for local resale, as it is the most sought-after color in the region for its heat-reflecting properties.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim provides a significant upgrade over the base Comfort model, most notably adding a 540-degree panoramic camera system that makes parking in tight urban spaces far easier. It also includes ventilated front seats, which are a necessity during the GCC summer, and an upgraded eight-speaker Sony audio system. You also benefit from a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite, including adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, which are often absent on lower-spec versions.

Tiggo 7 Pro Max vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Haval H6 or Geely Boyue, the Chery leads with its integrated 24.6-inch dual-screen setup that provides a more immersive cockpit experience. It offers 194 horsepower from its 1.6-liter turbo engine, giving it a performance edge in highway overtaking compared to the smaller engines found in entry-level Japanese crossovers. The inclusion of eight airbags as standard also surpasses the typical six-airbag configuration found in many class competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 1.6T engine typically averages around 7.8 to 9.4 L/100km depending on your balance of city idling and highway cruising. Chery has expanded its authorized service network significantly across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands generally face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the Pro Max trims maintain better value retention due to their high feature density and the remaining factory warranty.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivers a brisk 0-100 km/h time of 8.3 seconds, making it one of the quicker front-wheel-drive crossovers in its price bracket. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is calibrated for smooth shifts, providing a relaxed experience during long cross-border drives. While it is a road-biased SUV, the 190mm ground clearance is more than enough to handle gravel tracks and weekend trips to the outskirts of the desert.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the cabin is designed for GCC comfort with a dual-zone climate control system and dedicated rear air vents to keep all five passengers cool. The panoramic sunroof features a thick electric sunshade to block out the midday heat, while the leather seats provide good support for long commutes. The boot offers a practical 475 liters of space, expanding significantly with the flat-folding rear seats for larger family shopping trips.

Safety

This Luxury trim is equipped with a full suite of safety technologies including Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Lane Departure Prevention. These systems are particularly valuable on fast-moving UAE highways to assist with driver fatigue and sudden traffic changes. The vehicle also features a high-strength body structure and eight airbags, providing top-tier passive protection that rivals many European SUVs.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants 2025 technology and premium safety features without the premium price tag, this well-maintained Tiggo 7 Pro Max is a smart, tech-forward choice for GCC life.
