Summary

This 2026 Chery Tiggo 7 Luxury is a standout C-segment crossover that perfectly balances modern tech with GCC-ready practicality. As the highest available trim for the 1.5T engine, it adds significant value through premium features like a 360-degree camera and a panoramic sunroof that buyers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia actively seek. The grey exterior is a highly strategic choice for the region, as it maintains strong resale appeal while effectively hiding dust and resisting the aesthetic effects of high summer temperatures. Compared to its rivals, the Tiggo 7 offers a more comprehensive technology suite at a price point that makes it a very compelling buy for young families. With authorized service networks expanding rapidly across the GCC, owning a Chery has never been more convenient for local drivers.

This Car vs Other 2026 Tiggo 7s

This specific listing represents a nearly new example of the 2026 model year, offering the latest technical refinements with zero wear. Its grey exterior is a top performer for resale in the GCC used market, typically holding value better than niche colors due to its high demand and heat-resistant properties. Compared to higher-mileage 2025 units, this car provides the peace of mind of a full remaining manufacturer warranty period.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim is the definitive choice for GCC buyers, upgrading the standard features with a 360-degree panoramic camera and a full-length panoramic sunroof. It also enhances the cabin experience with power-adjustable leather seats and a wireless charging pad, features that are often missing on the base models. These additions not only improve daily comfort in the Dubai heat but also act as crucial differentiators during resale.

Tiggo 7 vs Segment Rivals

The Tiggo 7 competes directly with the MG HS and GAC GS4, leading the segment in digital cabin integration and standard high-spec features for the price. While many Japanese rivals require stepping up multiple grades to access a 360-degree camera, the Tiggo 7 Luxury includes it as standard equipment. Its 1.5L turbocharged engine is specifically tuned for a balance of city efficiency and consistent highway cruising across the Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

With a combined fuel consumption of 7.4 L/100km, the Tiggo 7 is highly efficient for daily commuting in stop-start traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. Chery has established a strong service presence through authorized partners like AW Rostamani in the UAE and Sahab United in Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts are readily available. While Chinese brands have historically seen higher initial depreciation, the Tiggo 7's growing popularity and extensive warranty support are stabilizing its 3-year value retention in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine produces a smooth 147 hp, allowing for confident highway overtaking and stable cruising at 120 km/h. With 210 Nm of torque available early in the rev range, it handles the weight of a full family and cargo with ease. While strictly a front-wheel-drive road-biased SUV, its 190 mm ground clearance provides plenty of confidence for navigating high speed bumps and unpaved parking areas common in developing residential districts.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a high-definition infotainment display with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless navigation through GCC cities. The dual-zone climate control is engineered for the Middle East climate, featuring dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers remain cool during peak summer. The Luxury trim's leather upholstery and soft-touch materials provide a premium feel that rivals more expensive executive crossovers.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the Luxury trim, which features a comprehensive 6-airbag system and a suite of electronic stability controls designed for high-speed highway safety. The 360-degree camera system is particularly useful for maneuvering into tight urban parking spaces, while the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) provides essential alerts during long, hot desert drives where tire temperature is critical.

The bottom line

This 2026 Tiggo 7 Luxury is ideal for a tech-conscious buyer who wants a new-car experience and premium features without the high depreciation of a luxury brand. It’s a smart, safe, and efficient choice that is perfectly suited for the daily GCC commute.
