Summary

This 2025 Geely Monjaro GF is a prime example of why the model has become a GCC favorite, offering premium tech and refinement at an accessible price point. With 22,709 km on the clock, its mileage is exactly where you want it for a one-year-old SUV in the region—broken in but still feeling fresh. The GF trim is the sweet spot of the lineup, providing luxury essentials like a triple-screen cockpit and ventilated seats that are non-negotiable for Dubai summers. It stands out from rivals by using the Volvo-derived CMA platform, giving it a level of high-speed stability and crash safety that many in the segment can't match. For a GCC buyer, the combination of robust 4WD capability and a refined 8-speed automatic makes it as capable on weekend escapes to Hatta as it is on the daily commute.

This Car vs Other 2025 Monjaros

With 22,709 km, this Monjaro sits right at the average for a one-year-old vehicle in the GCC, where 20,000–25,000 km per year is the standard due to highway distances. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the region, masking desert dust well while maintaining strong resale demand in the UAE used market. Choosing a 2025 model over an earlier production year ensures you have the latest software refinements for the triple-screen infotainment system.

GF vs Lower Trims

The GF trim represents a significant step up from the base GK, most notably adding the ventilated front seats and a premium Bose 10-speaker audio system. It also includes the full-width passenger touchscreen and a massive panoramic sunroof that transforms the cabin feel. Unlike lower trims, the GF comes standard with a 360-degree camera and heads-up display, making it much easier to navigate tight parking spaces in the city.

Monjaro vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Haval H6 and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro offer strong value, the Monjaro leads on mechanical pedigree with its 2.0L turbo engine co-developed with Swedish engineers. Its 2,845 mm wheelbase is one of the most generous in the class, providing superior rear legroom for family trips across the Emirates. Furthermore, its 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission is generally more refined at highway speeds than the dual-clutch units found in many competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L turbocharged engine returns approximately 8.1 to 8.8 L/100km on a combined cycle, though GCC city traffic with full AC will see that closer to 10 L/100km. Service intervals are typically set at 10,000 km or 6 months at authorized centers like AGMC in the UAE, which have a growing footprint across the region. Resale value for the Monjaro has proven surprisingly resilient in the GCC compared to other new-entry brands, largely due to its high build quality and Volvo-shared architecture.

Performance & Capability

A 0–100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds makes the Monjaro one of the brisker SUVs in its price bracket, ensuring confident overtaking on 140 km/h motorways. The 4WD system provides genuine peace of mind on gravel tracks and during occasional rainy periods, supported by selectable drive modes like Snow and Off-road. Its 350 Nm of torque is delivered low in the rev range, making the vehicle feel effortless even when fully loaded with a family of five.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a tech-heavy environment dominated by the 'IMAX' triple-screen layout that spans the entire dashboard. For the GCC climate, the 3-speed ventilated seats and dual-zone climate control with rear vents are highly effective at cooling the cabin quickly after it has been parked in the sun. High-quality materials like synthetic suede and soft-touch plastics give the interior a premium feel that rivals European SUVs costing twice as much.

Safety

This GF trim is equipped with a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist, which are invaluable for long desert highway drives. It also features a 540-degree transparent chassis camera, allowing you to see objects directly under the vehicle. Standard safety gear includes six airbags, autonomous emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring to handle the fast-paced traffic of Riyadh or Dubai.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants flagship luxury and modern tech without the premium European price tag, this low-mileage 2025 Monjaro is the smartest entry into the mid-size SUV segment today.
