Summary

This 2024 Geely Monjaro Luxury GF offers a nearly new ownership experience with only 5,000 km, placing it well below the average mileage for its year in the GCC. Finished in a high-resale Black exterior, this flagship trim provides a sophisticated European-inspired driving feel thanks to its shared architecture with Volvo products. It stands out from mainstream rivals by offering a triple-screen digital cockpit and a premium materials list usually reserved for much more expensive luxury brands. For a GCC buyer, this represents a unique opportunity to secure a high-specification, all-wheel-drive SUV that balances modern tech with a verified regional history. It is a compelling alternative to established mid-size crossovers for those prioritizing cabin technology and refinement.

This Car vs Other 2024 Monjaros

With just 5,000 km on the odometer, this Monjaro is in a select bracket of low-mileage examples compared to the 20,000–25,000 km typically seen annually on GCC roads. The Black exterior is one of the most sought-after colors in the local market, ensuring better demand and value retention at the point of resale. This vehicle retains its pristine 'like-new' character, offering a significant saving over a zero-km showroom alternative while maintaining full mechanical freshness.

LUXURY GF vs Lower Trims

The Luxury GF trim is a significant step up from the GK base model, adding essential GCC comfort features like ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof. It introduces the standout triple-screen IMAX dashboard and the 25.6-inch Head-Up Display that are missing on entry-level versions. Additionally, the GF adds a 12-speaker Infinity premium audio system and a 540-degree surround-view camera, providing the driver with superior tech and parking assistance for busy city environments.

Monjaro vs Segment Rivals

The Geely Monjaro competes directly with the Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5, leading both in terms of raw interior technology and cabin wheelbase length. While rivals focus on traditional utility, the Monjaro utilizes Volvo-derived engineering to deliver a more planted, high-speed highway feel. It offers a more premium interior aesthetic and a significantly higher level of standard ADAS safety features compared to base or mid-spec versions of its Japanese competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T engine averages around 11.9 km/L, which is efficient for an all-wheel-drive SUV during long-distance GCC highway cruising. Service intervals are typically scheduled every 10,000 km or 12 months at authorized centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with parts availability supported by a rapidly growing regional network. While Chinese brands face higher initial depreciation than Japanese stalwarts, the Monjaro holds its value better than almost any other model in its class due to high buyer demand for its premium features.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine produces 235 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds, which is brisk for the mid-size SUV segment. Its All-Wheel Drive system and 210 mm ground clearance make it highly capable for weekend excursions and gravel paths, though it remains optimized for highway comfort. The 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smooth shifting, making it an excellent companion for the daily commute between emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Monjaro features a spacious 5-seat layout with class-leading legroom thanks to its 2845 mm wheelbase. The cabin is specifically designed for the GCC climate, featuring powerful three-zone climate control and ventilated front seats to combat summer heat. High-quality eco-friendly materials and active noise cancellation create a serene environment, keeping the interior quiet even at high highway speeds.

Safety

This trim comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keeping Assist, which are highly effective for maintaining safety on fast-moving multi-lane highways. Passive safety is bolstered by six airbags and a high-strength steel body structure. The 540-degree camera system provides a transparent chassis view, ensuring total visibility when navigating tight urban parking spots or uneven terrain.

The bottom line

Perfect for the tech-focused family buyer, this low-mileage Monjaro Luxury GF offers a premium European driving experience and flagship features at a significant value compared to new.
