Summary

This 2025 Genesis GV70 Premium is an exceptional find, presenting in showroom-like condition with only 3,070 km on the clock. As a 1-year-old vehicle in the GCC, its ultra-low mileage offers a significant buying advantage, effectively providing a new-car experience at a pre-owned value. The Green exterior is a sophisticated, distinctive choice that stands out in the luxury segment while maintaining strong desirability in the regional market. This specific trim strikes a perfect balance between high-tech features and athletic performance, making it a highly compelling alternative to established German rivals. For GCC buyers, the primary advantage is owning a nearly-new vehicle with full regional suitability and a rapidly ascending brand reputation.

This Car vs Other 2025 GV70s

With only 3,070 km, this GV70 sits far below the average annual mileage for a premium SUV in the GCC, which typically ranges from 20,000 to 25,000 km. It represents a rare opportunity to acquire a current model year vehicle that has barely been driven, ensuring minimal wear and a long service life ahead. The Green paintwork is a unique high-spec color choice that enhances its exclusivity compared to more common white or silver listings.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly upgrades the cabin experience over the base model, introducing essential features for the GCC climate such as ventilated front seats and 3-zone climate control. It also adds a panoramic sunroof and acoustic laminated glass, which provides superior insulation from both the summer heat and highway road noise. Technological enhancements typically found in this grade include a larger integrated display and an upgraded audio system, offering much higher value than the entry-level configurations.

GV70 vs Segment Rivals

The GV70 is frequently cross-shopped with the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC, but leads with a more generous list of standard technology and a distinctively luxurious interior design. While rivals often charge extra for advanced safety suites, this Genesis includes a comprehensive ADAS package as standard. Its 2.5L turbocharged engine also provides more standard horsepower than the base four-cylinder engines found in many of its European competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.5T engine is approximately 10.3 L/100km on a combined cycle, though GCC highway cruising can yield better efficiency. Genesis has a strong authorized service presence across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, typically requiring maintenance every 10,000 to 15,000 km or 12 months. While European luxury brands often see depreciation of 12-18% annually in the region, the GV70 is holding value well as brand awareness grows, making it a financially sound choice in the mid-size premium segment.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5-litre turbocharged engine produces a potent 304 hp, enabling a brisk 0-100 km/h sprint in just 6.1 seconds, which is highly effective for merging into fast-moving Dubai or Riyadh highway traffic. The Rear Wheel Drive setup provides a sporty, engaging feel while maintaining a smooth and refined ride quality at high speeds. Multiple drive modes allow the vehicle to adapt to varying conditions, ensuring comfort during long-distance drives across emirates or borders.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the GV70 features a boutique-hotel aesthetic with premium materials and a massive 27-inch OLED digital display that dominates the dashboard. The five-seat layout is spacious, offering 945mm of rear legroom, which is ideal for family use. Standard ventilated seats and rear cooling vents are crucial for GCC summers, ensuring all passengers remain comfortable even in extreme heat. The 542-litre boot offers ample space for family groceries or weekend luggage, expanding to 1,678 litres with the rear seats folded.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the Genesis brand, and this GV70 comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of active safety systems. Standard features include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance, which are vital for safety on multi-lane GCC highways. The vehicle also features Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, making long desert highway drives significantly less fatiguing for the driver.

The bottom line

This GV70 is perfect for the professional or family buyer who wants the latest luxury tech and ultra-low mileage without the showroom price tag. It is a standout opportunity to own a nearly-new, high-spec GCC vehicle that remains under its original manufacturer support.
