As a one-year-old vehicle with 26,131 km, it has been driven slightly above the GCC annual average, yet it remains in prime condition for a modern SUV. The High Deluxe trim is the peak of the Dargo range, providing high-end features like Nappa leather and front seat ventilation that are essential for the regional climate. Its black exterior is a high-demand color in the local market, ensuring strong resale interest. For a GCC buyer, this model balances rugged off-road styling with the refined tech needed for daily city commutes.

This Car vs Other 2025 Haval Dargos

With 26,131 km on the odometer, this Dargo has seen healthy use typical of a primary vehicle in the GCC, where highway-heavy commuting often pushes annual averages toward 25,000 km. Its black exterior is one of the most resilient colors for resale value in the UAE and wider region. Being a 2025 model year, it benefits from the latest software and cabin refinements available in this generation.

HIGH DELUX vs Lower Trims

The High Deluxe trim elevates the Dargo experience with premium Nappa leather upholstery and an immersive 10-speaker Infinity audio system. It adds critical comfort features for the GCC heat, including ventilated front seats and a massage function for the driver. Tech-wise, this trim also includes a head-up display and a full 360-degree camera system that are absent on base Adventure models.

Dargo vs Segment Rivals

The Haval Dargo competes with the Jetour T2 and BAIC BJ40 by offering a more road-biased, comfortable monocoque chassis while maintaining a rugged 200 mm ground clearance. Unlike many rivals, the Dargo focuses on a high-tech cabin experience, featuring a large 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a comprehensive ADAS suite as standard. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine provides a more refined power delivery than many smaller-displacement engines in its class.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T AWD variant typically ranges between 10.9 and 12.7 L/100km, making it efficient for long-distance cruising across the emirates. Service intervals are set at 10,000 km or 6 months, with an extensive authorized service network available through GWM distributors in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As a popular choice among the new wave of Chinese SUVs, the Dargo maintains competitive value retention, especially in top-tier trims like the High Deluxe.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the Dargo produces 196 hp and 325 Nm of torque, delivering a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 9 seconds. It features an intelligent 4WD system with selectable terrain modes—including Sand, Mud, and Snow—making it perfectly capable for weekend trips to the desert or light trail exploration. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is tuned for smooth highway overtaking and efficient long-range travel.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for five passengers with a focus on cooling and luxury, featuring dual-zone automatic air conditioning and dedicated rear vents to combat the summer heat. The High Deluxe trim provides Nappa leather seating with power adjustment for both the driver and front passenger. A panoramic sunroof adds an airy feel to the interior, while acoustic insulation helps keep the cabin quiet during high-speed highway driving between cities.

Safety

The Dargo High Deluxe comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including 6 airbags and a 360-degree camera for effortless parking. Standard ADAS features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are invaluable for fast-moving multi-lane GCC highways. Autonomous Emergency Braking and Traffic Sign Recognition provide additional layers of protection for both urban and long-distance driving.

The bottom line

This 2025 Dargo High Deluxe is the perfect opportunity for a buyer seeking a rugged, tech-heavy SUV that is still within its prime manufacturer support period.
