Summary

This 2025 Jetour Dashing Standard offers an entry into the modern crossover market with a futuristic design that stands out on UAE roads. Despite being a recent model year, the mileage is higher than the typical GCC average for its age, making it a mechanically proven choice for a buyer looking for immediate availability. The black exterior is a high-demand choice in the local market, ensuring it maintains a broad appeal for future resale. It competes effectively by offering a tech-heavy cabin and a efficient 1.5L turbocharged engine, ideal for city commuting and long highway drives between the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour Dashings

While most 2025 models in the GCC market currently show lower odometer readings, this vehicle’s 49,313 km indicates consistent highway use, which often results in less wear on city-centric components like brakes and transmissions. The black exterior remains one of the strongest resale colors in the region, providing a significant liquidity advantage over less traditional shades.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim, the Standard provides the core Dashing experience including the dual 10.25-inch screen setup and keyless entry which are often optional in this segment's base models. It retains the essential futuristic aesthetic and spacious 2,720mm wheelbase found in the higher trims without the added complexity of larger 19-inch wheels or panoramic glass, which can be a maintenance benefit in the intense GCC heat.

Dashing vs Segment Rivals

The Dashing holds a distinct advantage in cargo versatility with 486 liters of boot space, outperforming the MG HS in pure luggage capacity. Its wheelbase is among the longest in the compact SUV class, providing superior rear legroom for family trips compared to traditional rivals like the Changan CS75 Plus. The 57-liter fuel tank is specifically sized to handle long-distance regional highway hauls with fewer stops.

Running Costs & Resale

With a real-world combined fuel consumption of approximately 7.8 L/100km, the Dashing is economical for daily UAE commutes. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 6 months at authorized centers across the GCC, including extensive coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While Chinese crossovers generally experience higher initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the Dashing's growing popularity and striking looks help it retain value better than many emerging competitors in the C-SUV segment.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine produces a reliable 150 hp, delivered smoothly to the front wheels via an automatic transmission. This setup is optimized for GCC highway speeds, providing sufficient torque for confident overtaking and effortless cruising on the E11 or E311. A minimum ground clearance of 160mm ensures it handles urban speed humps and gravel parking areas common in new developments across the region with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Dashing features a library-quiet 36dB silent cabin design, providing a refined environment away from city noise. The air conditioning system is designed for the Gulf climate, featuring dedicated rear vents to keep all five passengers comfortable during peak summer temperatures. Synthetic leather seats and a multi-functional steering wheel provide a premium touch-point experience for both daily commutes and weekend road trips.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Electronic Stability Control and Brake Assist, which are vital for maintaining traction on sandy road surfaces. The vehicle is equipped with a rear parking camera and sensors to simplify maneuvering in tight urban spaces. Front and side airbags provide comprehensive protection, while ISOFIX anchors ensure the vehicle is ready for family duties across the GCC.

The bottom line

This Jetour Dashing is the ideal match for a tech-conscious buyer who wants a 2025 model's style and features at a more accessible entry point due to its proven mileage.
