Summary

This 2025 Lexus NX250 Premium offers a balanced entry into the luxury crossover segment, combining the brand's legendary reliability with a modern, tech-focused cabin. In the grey exterior, this unit features a color that typically holds strong resale value in the GCC due to its heat-reflective properties and resistance to showing dust. With approximately 22,500 km on the clock, it sits comfortably within the low-mileage category for a vehicle of this age in the region, where annual driving often exceeds 25,000 km. It stands out from rivals by offering a naturally aspirated powertrain that simplifies long-term maintenance in the extreme heat of the Gulf. For a GCC buyer, the primary consideration is the efficient American spec powertrain, which is perfectly suited for daily commutes across Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

This Car vs Other 2025 NX250s

With just 22,507 km, this NX250 has significantly lower mileage than the typical 2025 model in the GCC, which often sees high highway usage between emirates. The grey metallic finish is a highly practical choice for the region, maintaining a cleaner appearance during sandstorms and offering better value retention than more niche colors.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim is a significant step up from the base model, adding essential GCC comforts like ventilated front seats and a power rear door with a kick sensor. It also introduces the Lexus Memory System, which allows multiple drivers to save their preferred seat, mirror, and steering wheel positions—a luxury often missing in entry-level specifications.

NX250 vs Segment Rivals

The NX250 leads rivals like the BMW X1 and Audi Q3 in terms of predicted long-term reliability and service network density across the GCC. Its 2.5L naturally aspirated engine avoids the complexities of turbocharging, providing a more predictable ownership experience in stop-start city traffic and extreme summer temperatures.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus enjoys some of the highest value retention rates in the UAE and wider GCC, typically depreciating only 8-10% annually. With a combined fuel economy of 8.4 L/100km, it remains efficient for a luxury SUV, while the extensive Al-Futtaim and Ebrahim K. Kanoo service networks ensure parts are readily available. American spec models are common in the UAE, though buyers should note that local service contracts may differ from GCC-spec vehicles.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5L engine produces a reliable 203 hp, providing a smooth and linear power delivery that is ideal for navigating busy urban highways. While designed primarily for road use, the 8.1 inches of ground clearance allows for confident handling of speed bumps and gravel access roads common in newer residential developments. The eight-speed automatic transmission is tuned for efficiency, ensuring a relaxed cruise during long-distance drives across the borders.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the five-seat cabin is designed for the heat, featuring standard ventilated front seats and a powerful dual-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents. The 9.8-inch Lexus Interface provides seamless wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring you stay connected on the move. Acoustic glass helps isolate the interior from road noise and external heat, creating a quiet sanctuary during the peak of summer.

Safety

This Premium trim comes equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, featuring Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, which is indispensable for the long desert highways. Standard Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Tracing Assist provide an extra layer of security when navigating multi-lane traffic, while the Digital Latch with Safe Exit Assist prevents doors from opening if a vehicle or cyclist is approaching from behind.

The bottom line

This NX250 Premium is the ideal choice for a luxury-seeking professional who prioritizes low-mileage reliability and GCC-ready features like ventilated seats. It represents a smart opportunity to own a nearly-new Lexus that is already optimized for the region's driving demands.
