Summary

This 2025 Mercedes-AMG CLE53 4MATIC+ is a standout performance coupe, bridging the gap between luxury cruising and raw track-bred agility. With very low mileage for its age in the GCC market, it offers a near-new driving experience powered by a sophisticated mild-hybrid inline-six. The grey exterior is a resilient and highly sought-after shade for resale in the region, maintaining its appeal despite the intense sun. As a new model replacing both the C and E-Class coupes, it provides a broader, more aggressive stance that commands respect on UAE roads. This listing represents a rare opportunity to own the latest AMG technology with a powertrain celebrated for its character and balance.

This Car vs Other 2025 CLE53 AMGs

With just 7,980 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the average annual mileage of 20,000–25,000 km typically seen in the GCC. This low usage ensures the mechanical components and interior finishes remain in pristine condition. The grey exterior is a strategic choice for the region, offering excellent heat reflection and maintaining higher resale value compared to more niche colors.

4MATIC vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the CLE53 AMG from the CLE450 adds a significantly wider body with flared arches and an AMG-specific Panamericana grille. Inside, you gain the AMG Performance steering wheel and sport-contoured seats that are essential for high-speed stability on highway curves. The most critical local upgrade is the 4MATIC+ system, which features fully variable torque distribution for superior grip during occasional rain or on sandy road shoulders.

CLE53 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The CLE53 AMG leads the BMW M440i in outright power and visual aggression, offering a more 'flagship' presence on the road. Its 65-litre fuel tank provides ample range for long-distance runs between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Compared to the Audi S5, the Mercedes offers a more modern MBUX infotainment suite with portrait-oriented screens that are easier to navigate in fast-moving traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 9.5 L/100km, though this may increase in stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. As a Canadian spec vehicle, buyers should note that while mechanical parts are widely available through the extensive Mercedes-Benz GCC network, local warranty coverage may differ from GCC-spec cars. The CLE53 is expected to follow the strong value retention pattern of AMG coupes, typically holding about 80-85% of its value after the first year in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 449 hp inline-six engine is assisted by an electric auxiliary compressor that eliminates turbo lag, providing immediate overtaking power on the E11 highway. The 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system ensures that all 560 Nm of torque (600 Nm during overboost) is delivered to the tarmac with zero drama. Multiple drive modes, including Sport+, transform the car's personality from a quiet executive commuter to a sharp performance machine at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

The four-seat cabin is a masterclass in modern luxury, featuring an 11.9-inch central touchscreen and high-quality synthetic or Napa leather finishes. The air conditioning system is designed to handle rapid cooling, a necessity for the GCC summer months. Acoustic glass and improved insulation ensure the cabin remains a quiet sanctuary, even when cruising at high speeds on exposed desert roads.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive ADAS suite with Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and a 360° camera system which is invaluable for parking in tight urban spaces. The adaptive cruise control and Lane Keeping Assist make long cross-border drives significantly less fatiguing. The 4MATIC+ system also acts as a safety feature, providing enhanced stability on gravel or wet surfaces.

The bottom line

This 2025 CLE53 AMG is perfect for the enthusiast seeking a cutting-edge, low-mileage performance coupe that stands out in the UAE's competitive luxury market.
