Summary

This 2025 MG 3 Comfort is a modern and highly efficient hatchback that perfectly suits the daily needs of a GCC commuter. With its 1.5L engine and CVT transmission, it offers a smooth city driving experience while maintaining exceptionally low running costs. The Comfort trim bridges the gap between value and technology, featuring a sharp digital cockpit and premium infotainment features usually reserved for larger sedans. As a GCC-spec 2025 model, it is built to handle the regional heat with a robust cooling system and reliable mechanicals. For those seeking a nearly new vehicle with a modern aesthetic and proven economy, this listing represents a strategic choice in the compact segment.

This Car vs Other 2025 MG 3s

With 55,000 km, this vehicle has been actively driven, which is slightly above the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the GCC but reflects its reliability as a primary commuter. The Grey exterior is a versatile and popular choice in the region, offering better heat management than darker tones and maintaining strong resale appeal. Compared to others on the market, this unit benefits from being a 2025 model year, ensuring the latest design updates and a modern cabin interface.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim adds significant tech upgrades over the base Standard model, most notably the 10.25-inch touchscreen and a more advanced digital instrument cluster. It also includes 16-inch alloy wheels and a rear-view camera with parking sensors, features that are essential for navigating tight urban parking in the UAE. These additions make the Comfort trim a much stronger contender for resale value as GCC buyers prioritize these safety and tech conveniences.

MG 3 vs Segment Rivals

The MG 3 competes directly with the Toyota Yaris and Kia Rio, offering a more contemporary interior and a larger standard infotainment screen than its rivals. While the Yaris is known for its legendary reliability, the MG 3 leads on tech-per-dirham, providing a more premium-feeling cabin at a more accessible price point. Its compact turning circle and hatchback practicality make it easier to maneuver through heavy city traffic than many sub-compact sedans.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 6.1 L/100km, making it one of the most economical non-hybrid petrol cars for the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway commute. Service intervals are typically set at 10,000 km or 6 months, and MG’s rapidly expanding authorized network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman ensures parts and maintenance are easily accessible. The model holds its value well in the GCC due to the high demand for affordable, fuel-efficient daily drivers with a valid manufacturer warranty.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L 4-cylinder engine produces 109 hp, providing adequate power for city zipping and steady highway cruising. It reaches a top speed of 185 km/h, which allows for confident overtaking on high-speed regional roads. The CVT transmission is tuned for efficiency and smooth power delivery, ensuring that stop-start traffic in cities like Riyadh or Dubai is handled without the jerkiness often found in older automatic gearboxes.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the MG 3 features a surprisingly spacious 5-seat layout with cloth upholstery designed to stay cool during extreme summer temperatures. The air conditioning system is specifically calibrated for the GCC, providing rapid cabin cooling even after being parked in the sun. Practicality is a highlight, with 293 litres of boot space that can be expanded to 983 litres by folding the rear seats, making it capable of handling large grocery hauls or airport luggage.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Emergency Brake Assist, and multiple airbags. The inclusion of Rear Parking Sensors and a High-Definition Rear Camera as standard on the Comfort trim provides extra peace of mind during city maneuvers. Its 4-star Euro NCAP rating underscores a solid structural foundation, while the Tire Pressure Monitoring System helps maintain safety during long, hot highway drives.

The bottom line

This MG 3 is the ideal opportunity for a professional or student looking for a stylish, high-tech 2025 model that prioritizes fuel savings and ease of maintenance in the GCC.
