Highlights

• 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating (2021)
• 513 litres boot space with all seats in place
• 6.2 L/100km combined fuel consumption (WLTP)

Summary

This 2025 Renault Arkana Evolution offers a rare opportunity to own a nearly-new coupe-SUV with mileage significantly below the GCC annual average. Its sleek, aerodynamic silhouette sets it apart from traditional boxy crossovers while maintaining the high-riding visibility and ground clearance required for local roads. The punchy 1.3-liter turbocharged engine is perfectly suited for daily commutes across the Emirates, delivering impressive fuel efficiency in both city traffic and on the E11 highway. Finished in white, the car is ideal for the local climate and benefits from strong resale demand in the secondary market. As a GCC-spec model, it features a cooling system and air conditioning unit specifically engineered to handle extreme summer heat.

This Car vs Other 2025 Arkanas

With just 19,198 km on the clock, this Arkana has seen far less use than the typical 25,000 km annual average for vehicles in this region. This low usage means the mechanical components are in their prime, offering a longer remaining lifespan for the next owner. The white exterior is the most popular choice in the UAE, ensuring better thermal management in summer and maintaining a stronger resale value than less common colors.

EVOLUTION vs Lower Trims

The Evolution trim serves as a well-equipped entry into the range, adding essential tech like a 7-inch Easy Link touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration and a rear-view camera. Unlike basic trims elsewhere, the GCC Evolution includes LED C-shaped signature lighting and front and rear parking sensors as standard. It strikes a professional balance between cost-effectiveness and the modern digital features that GCC buyers expect.

Arkana vs Segment Rivals

The Arkana leads the compact crossover segment with its 513-liter boot, significantly outperforming competitors like the Toyota C-HR in terms of cargo practicality. Its 1.3L turbo powertrain offers a more spirited drive than the naturally aspirated engines found in the Kia Seltos, while its coupe-inspired roofline provides a premium aesthetic typically reserved for much more expensive European luxury brands. For long-distance driving between GCC cities, its fuel tank and efficiency provide a total theoretical range exceeding 800 km.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel costs remain remarkably low for a crossover, with a combined consumption figure of 6.2 L/100km, making it one of the most efficient petrol-only models in its class. Renault's authorized service network is well-established across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals typically scheduled every 15,000 km. Historically, the Arkana holds its value well in the GCC due to its unique styling and the reliability of its shared CMF-B platform.

Performance & Capability

The 1.3-liter turbocharged engine produces a responsive 155 hp and 262 Nm of torque, allowing for smooth overtaking on fast-moving highways. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures rapid gear changes, resulting in a 0-100 km/h sprint of approximately 9.1 seconds. While designed for the road, its generous ground clearance is more than enough to handle gravel tracks and the varied terrain often encountered during weekend trips outside the city.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Arkana provides a driver-focused digital cockpit with a clear 7-inch TFT display and intuitive controls for the automatic climate system. Despite the sloping roofline, clever packaging ensures ample knee room for rear passengers, making it a viable option for small families. The GCC-optimized air conditioning system is built to maintain a cool cabin environment even when temperatures exceed 45°C.

Safety

Safety is a primary highlight, with the Arkana carrying a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. Standard equipment on this trim includes a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Active Emergency Braking. For highway driving in the UAE, the inclusion of Cruise Control with a speed limiter and six standard airbags provides essential peace of mind in high-speed traffic.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the premium look of a European coupe-SUV without the associated running costs, this low-mileage 2025 Arkana is the smartest choice currently on the market.
