Summary

This 2025 Renault Koleos PE offers a near-new ownership experience with mileage that sits well below the typical GCC annual average for a vehicle of this age. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the region, maintaining its finish in dusty conditions while holding strong resale appeal in the local used market. Built on a shared platform with the Nissan X-Trail, it provides proven Japanese mechanical reliability paired with French design flair. For UAE buyers, this PE trim delivers a robust crossover that prioritizes ease of use and long-distance comfort on the highway. With its current model year and minimal wear, this listing represents an ideal opportunity for families seeking a dependable daily workhorse with modern styling.

This Car vs Other 2025 Koleos

At just over 21,000 km, this vehicle’s mileage is significantly lower than the 25,000 km annual average typically seen for SUVs in the GCC. The Grey exterior is one of the most resilient colors for the local climate, masking dust better than darker shades and ensuring better value retention. Buying a 2025 model with these kilometers offers the benefits of a fresh vehicle without the steep initial depreciation of a showroom-new car.

PE vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the 2025 lineup in the UAE, the PE provides essential GCC features including a rear-view camera and rear parking sensors as standard. It avoids the complexity of higher-spec electronics while maintaining the same 2.5L powertrain and spacious cabin found in more expensive trims. Buyers still benefit from rear AC vents and cruise control, which are non-negotiable for comfortable summer driving in the Emirates.

Koleos vs Segment Rivals

The Koleos stands out against rivals like the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V by offering one of the most generous rear legroom figures in the segment, measuring 289 mm. Its 60-litre fuel tank is well-sized for long-distance cruising between cities like Dubai and Riyadh. While rivals often opt for smaller turbocharged engines, the Renault's naturally aspirated 2.5L unit is favored in the GCC for its heat tolerance and mechanical simplicity.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 8.1 L/100km, offering a balanced profile for both stop-start city traffic and high-speed highway commutes. Renault’s authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring parts are readily available. The Koleos benefits from sharing major mechanical components with Nissan, which helps moderate long-term maintenance costs and supports a stable depreciation curve compared to other European crossovers.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5L 4-cylinder engine delivers a reliable 170 hp, allowing for a verified 0-100 km/h sprint of 9.5 seconds. With 210 mm of ground clearance, it easily handles high curbs and unpaved gravel tracks common in new suburban developments. The Front Wheel Drive configuration paired with a smooth CVT transmission ensures a refined experience during daily school runs and weekend trips to the coast.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the GCC climate, featuring a powerful dual-zone air conditioning system and dedicated vents for rear passengers to combat summer heat. Storage is a priority, with up to 32.7 litres of cubby space distributed throughout the interior for family essentials. The 60/40 split-folding rear seats allow the boot space to expand significantly, making it easy to carry large groceries or sports gear for weekend outings.

Safety

Standard safety features on this GCC-spec PE trim include multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control, and Hill Start Assist, which is particularly useful in multi-story parking structures. The inclusion of a rear-view camera and cruise control provides essential assistance for navigating both tight urban spaces and the fast-moving lanes of the E11 highway.

The bottom line

This 2025 Koleos PE is the perfect match for a pragmatic buyer who wants a current-model-year SUV with low mileage and Japanese-backed reliability. It offers excellent cabin space and essential GCC comforts at a price point that avoids the premium of higher trims.
