Summary

This 2025 Seres 5 Premium offers a compelling alternative to established European electric crossovers, combining high-tech features with a refined beige exterior that performs well in the GCC heat. As a brand-new model year, it benefits from the latest software updates and a plush cabin that feels a step above its price bracket. The Premium trim is specifically sought after in the UAE for its added luxury equipment and superior interior materials compared to the standard version. With its rear-wheel-drive configuration, this SUV provides the ideal balance of efficiency and smooth power delivery for daily commuting between emirates. For the local buyer, the combination of 350 horsepower and a heat-reflective color makes this a smart, future-proof choice in the growing regional EV market.

This Car vs Other 2025 Seres 5s

With zero kilometers on the clock, this 2025 model provides the full benefit of a fresh battery and a clean service history, which is a major advantage for resale in the UAE. The beige exterior is an excellent choice for the region, as it reflects heat more effectively than darker tones and is a highly stable color for long-term value retention. Compared to 2024 units, this listing ensures the buyer receives the most current regional specification and warranty support.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly elevates the ownership experience in the GCC by adding Nappa leather upholstery and 12-way power-adjustable front seats that include both ventilation and massage functions—essential for summer comfort. It also features a superior 11-speaker audio system and an upgraded 15.6-inch infotainment screen that supports wireless smartphone integration. These high-end touches are precisely what used car buyers in the region prioritize, ensuring better demand when it comes time to sell.

Seres 5 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Tesla Model Y or the Volkswagen ID.4, the Seres 5 stands out for its far more traditional luxury cabin, utilizing soft-touch materials and acoustic glass that better insulates passengers from GCC highway noise. It offers a larger standard feature set including a panoramic sunroof and a 360-degree camera system that rivals often reserve for expensive option packages. While rivals focus on minimalism, the Seres 5 provides a more substantial, premium SUV feel that resonates with local executive tastes.

Running Costs & Resale

Electric running costs in the UAE are exceptionally low, with home charging providing significant savings over petrol-powered SUVs in the same power class. The authorized service network is well-established in major hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah through Green Motors, with service intervals typically required every 20,000 km. While Chinese EVs are a newer segment, the Premium trim's high equipment levels help mitigate depreciation compared to base models. The 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty included with GCC-spec vehicles provides long-term peace of mind for the second owner.

Performance & Capability

The 350-horsepower electric motor delivers instant torque, making highway merging and overtaking on the E11 effortless and silent. This rear-wheel-drive version is tuned for comfort and efficiency, providing a smooth ride quality that handles the transition from city streets to highway speeds with composure. With its 80 kWh battery, the car offers a reliable range that comfortably covers a round trip between Dubai and Abu Dhabi on a single charge. The dedicated EV platform ensures a low center of gravity, resulting in stable handling during high-speed highway cruising.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the UAE summer, featuring a high-output dual-zone climate control system and dedicated rear air vents to keep all five passengers cool. The Nappa leather seats with integrated ventilation are a standout feature, preventing discomfort during long drives in high temperatures. Technology is front and center with a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that provides clear visibility even in direct sunlight. A powered tailgate and a 67-liter front trunk (frunk) add practical storage solutions for family grocery runs or weekend trips.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the Premium trim includes a comprehensive ADAS suite featuring adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, both of which are vital for navigating the fast-moving, multi-lane traffic of the GCC. The car is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree panoramic camera system that makes parking in tight urban spaces simple. Additional features like lane-keeping assist and forward collision warning provide an extra layer of protection for family-oriented buyers.

The bottom line

For the buyer looking to transition to electric without sacrificing traditional luxury, this 2025 Seres 5 Premium is the ideal choice, offering high-end cabin comfort and excellent regional support.
