Summary

This 2026 BMW M5 Touring Masterclass is a rare opportunity to own the ultimate performance wagon in its launch year. With just 500 km on the clock, this GCC-spec example is effectively brand new, offering a significant advantage over high-mileage imports. The Masterclass trim provides the most comprehensive feature set available, making it the definitive choice for those who demand both supercar pace and family versatility. In the GCC, the blue exterior is a highly desirable resale choice that stands out against common monochrome shades while maintaining strong market value. This is the first M5 Touring to officially grace our roads in nearly two decades, making it a guaranteed head-turner from Dubai to Riyadh.

This Car vs Other 2026 M5s

With a mileage of just 500 km, this vehicle is in the lowest percentile of use for a 2026 model in the GCC market. While typical annual use for high-performance cars in the region averages 15,000 km, this car remains in showroom condition. The blue exterior is a premium choice that offers better long-term resale potential than niche experimental colors.

TOURING MASTERCLASS vs Lower Trims

The Masterclass trim sits above the standard M5 Touring by bundling the most sought-after GCC options as standard. It features ventilated front seats and four-zone automatic climate control, both essential for the regional heat, along with the high-fidelity Bowers & Wilkins surround-sound system. It also includes the M Driver’s Package, which unlocks a higher top speed and includes performance-calibrated software not found on base models.

M5 vs Segment Rivals

The M5 Touring leads rivals like the Audi RS6 Avant and Mercedes-AMG E63 by offering a state-of-the-art plug-in hybrid system that allows for silent, electric-only city driving. Its 1,000 Nm of torque provides superior mid-range pulling power for effortless highway overtaking on long GCC transits. Furthermore, its updated iDrive 8.5 system offers the most advanced Arabic-supported voice and navigation interface in the segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption is highly efficient in city traffic thanks to the hybrid assist, with official WLTP combined figures of 2.0 L/100km. Service intervals are managed by the BMW Condition-Based Service (CBS) system, typically every 12,000 km, with an extensive network of authorized service centers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Historically, GCC-spec M5 models retain approximately 65-70% of their value over the first three years, outperforming many European rivals in the regional used market.

Performance & Capability

The 727 hp output makes this the most powerful production M5 ever, delivering a blistering 0-100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds. The M xDrive all-wheel-drive system is specifically tuned to handle high-speed stability on desert highways, with a selectable 2WD mode for enthusiast driving. Despite its performance credentials, it remains a capable long-distance cruiser with an electronically limited top speed of up to 305 km/h when equipped with the M Driver’s Package.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout features Merino leather M Multi-function seats that are both heated and ventilated to combat the extreme summer temperatures. The 500-litre boot provides ample room for family road trips, expanding to 1,630 litres with the flat-folding rear seats. Acoustic glazing and a powerful 4-zone AC system ensure the cabin remains a quiet, cool sanctuary even in the peak of the GCC summer.

Safety

This M5 comes standard with the full Driving Assistant Professional suite, including active cruise control with stop-and-go functionality for heavy traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh. Key safety tech includes 360-degree cameras with 3D view, lane change assistant, and a high-strength body-shell designed for maximum occupant protection. The M-specific head-up display ensures the driver's eyes stay on the road during high-speed highway driving.

The bottom line

For the GCC enthusiast who needs a supercar that can also handle the school run and cross-border road trips, this nearly-new M5 Touring Masterclass is an unbeatable opportunity.
