Summary

This 2026 BMW M5 Touring is a rare find in the GCC, offering supercar performance with a versatile wagon body that rivals the practicality of many SUVs. With only 700 km on the clock, this near-new vehicle represents an exceptional opportunity to skip long waitlists for one of the most powerful production BMWs ever built. The white exterior is a prime choice for the region, known for its heat-reflective properties and consistently high resale value in local markets. This G99 generation is the first to feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain, allowing for silent, electric-only commutes across the city before unleashing its full 727 hp on the highway. For a buyer seeking the ultimate all-rounder, this M5 delivers an unmatched blend of family utility and high-speed executive cruising.

This Car vs Other 2026 M5s

At just 700 km, this M5 has significantly lower mileage than the typical 20,000 km annual average seen on the UAE's high-speed road networks. While many examples are listed with delivery mileage, this specific car offers a distinct advantage by being a GCC-spec Touring model, which is far rarer and more desirable than the standard sedan. The Alpine White finish is not just a stylistic choice but a strategic one for the GCC, maintaining its value better than darker alternatives in the used market.

TOURING MASTERCLASS vs Lower Trims

In the UAE market, the Masterclass represents the top-tier specification, bundling essential GCC features like ventilated front seats and a 360-degree surround-view camera that are often optional elsewhere. This trim also standardizes the premium 18-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system and a panoramic glass roof, providing a significantly more upscale cabin experience than entry-level configurations. Most importantly, it typically includes the M Driver’s Package, which raises the top speed to 305 km/h for the ultimate performance potential.

M5 vs Segment Rivals

The M5 Touring’s most direct rival is the Audi RS6 Avant, but the BMW leads with a substantial power advantage of over 100 hp thanks to its advanced M Hybrid system. Compared to performance SUVs like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the M5 offers a lower center of gravity and sharper handling while maintaining a comparable 500-litre cargo area. It stands alone in the segment by offering a selectable 2WD mode, allowing enthusiasts to switch from all-wheel-drive security to a pure rear-wheel-drive experience.

Running Costs & Resale

The plug-in hybrid system can significantly lower daily running costs, achieving as low as 2.0 L/100km on the WLTP cycle when the battery is utilized for city driving. Service intervals are typically every 12,000 km, and BMW’s extensive authorized network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait ensures reliable maintenance. GCC-spec M cars are known for strong value retention, typically holding approximately 80% of their value after the first year, making this low-mileage example a stable investment.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this machine is a 4.4-litre V8 paired with an electric motor to produce a massive 1,000 Nm of torque, ensuring effortless overtaking on the E11 highway. It reaches 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, with the M xDrive system providing incredible traction even on dusty or sandy road surfaces common in the region. The 8-speed M Steptronic transmission offers lightning-fast shifts, while the adaptive M suspension allows you to soften the ride for comfortable city commuting in Dubai or Riyadh.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is tailored for the GCC climate, featuring powerful multi-zone air conditioning and ventilated Merino leather seats to ensure comfort during peak summer months. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents and ample legroom, making it a viable executive transport or a high-speed family tourer. The interior is dominated by the BMW Curved Display and a head-up display, keeping essential performance data directly in the driver's line of sight.

Safety

Equipped with the Driving Assistant Professional suite, this M5 features adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance, which are invaluable for long desert highway drives. The standard 360-degree camera and Parking Assistant Professional make navigating tight city parking in the Burj Khalifa district or malls effortless despite the car's substantial size. Advanced stability control and high-performance M compound brakes ensure maximum safety and stopping power under all GCC road conditions.

The bottom line

This 2026 M5 Touring is the perfect opportunity for a collector or performance-minded family to own a rare, high-spec GCC wagon with delivery-level mileage.
