With a mileage of 36,086 km, this SUV has been driven roughly the regional annual average, ensuring it remains in its mechanical prime. Its black exterior is one of the most sought-after colors for resale in the UAE and Saudi markets, providing a sophisticated look while holding its value well. Compared to its peers, the Tiggo 7 stands out for including high-end features like a panoramic roof and advanced cameras as standard equipment. This makes it an ideal choice for urban families seeking a premium feel without the typical luxury price tag.

This Car vs Other 2026 Tiggo 7s

With 36,086 km on the odometer, this Tiggo 7 sits right at the expected usage mark for a 2026 model in the GCC, where highway commuting typically adds 20,000 to 25,000 km per year. The black exterior is a significant advantage, as it is a top-tier resale color in the local used market. Buyers will find this specific unit offers a well-maintained entry point into the latest generation of Chery's design language.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim provides essential upgrades over the Comfort variant that are highly valued in the GCC, including a 360-degree surround-view camera for easier parking in tight city spots. It also adds a massive panoramic sunroof with anti-pinch protection and premium leather upholstery. These features significantly enhance the cabin's ambiance and cooling efficiency, making it a more comfortable environment during the peak summer months.

Tiggo 7 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the MG HS or Hyundai Tucson, the Tiggo 7 leads with its standard tech-to-price ratio, offering a digital cockpit experience that often requires expensive packages on competitors. Its 1.5L turbocharged engine is specifically tuned for fuel efficiency, making it more economical for daily Dubai-to-Abu Dhabi highway runs. Furthermore, the Tiggo 7 provides a more modern interior layout with high-resolution screens that rival many premium European brands.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 1.5L turbo averages 7.4 L/100km, making it one of the most efficient non-hybrid SUVs in its class. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 12 months, supported by an expanding authorized service network across the UAE (via AW Rostamani) and Saudi Arabia. While Chinese brands are still establishing their long-term depreciation curves, the Tiggo 7 holds approximately 63% of its value after two years, a competitive rate that is steadily improving as brand trust grows in the region.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged engine delivers 147 hp and 210 Nm of torque, providing smooth and responsive acceleration for city traffic and confident highway overtaking. The 9-speed CVT ensures power delivery is seamless, prioritizing fuel economy without sacrificing the ability to maintain GCC highway speeds. With a ground clearance designed for urban obstacles and light gravel paths, it handles the diverse terrain of the Emirates with ease. Multiple drive modes allow the driver to prioritize efficiency or a more spirited throttle response depending on the commute.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for five occupants with a focus on high-temperature comfort, featuring a powerful dual-zone climate control system and rear air vents to ensure all passengers stay cool. The 1.13m² panoramic sunroof creates an airy, open feel while the acoustic glass helps insulate the interior from road noise and desert heat. Tech enthusiasts will appreciate the dual-screen digital dashboard and wireless charging pad, ensuring the cabin remains clutter-free and connected. Fold-flat rear seats expand the cargo space from 475L to 1,500L, making it versatile for family road trips.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the Luxury trim, which comes equipped with six airbags and a comprehensive suite of active systems. Key features include the 360-degree camera system, which provides a bird's-eye view of the vehicle to avoid obstacles. Standard electronic stability control, traction control, and brake assist work together to keep the car stable on sand-dusted roads or during sudden stops on fast-moving highways. The ISOFIX child seat anchors and tire pressure monitoring further enhance its credentials as a secure family transport.

The bottom line

This 2026 Tiggo 7 Luxury is a perfect match for a value-conscious buyer who wants the latest technology and a high-resale color without waiting for a new car delivery. It offers a premium SUV experience tailored specifically for the GCC climate and driving conditions.
