Summary

This 2026 Jetour X70 Plus COM offers a distinct advantage for GCC buyers looking for a nearly new seven-seater without the initial showroom price tag. With just 13,810 km on the clock, its mileage is significantly lower than the typical 20,000 km annual average seen in the region, ensuring the powertrain remains in its prime. The black exterior is a perennial favorite in the UAE and Saudi markets, providing a strong foundation for future resale value. As a modern mid-size crossover, it stands out by offering a level of digital integration and cabin space that often costs double in established European segments. For anyone needing a flexible family vehicle that handles the intense GCC summer with ease, this is one of the most logical value-driven opportunities currently on the market.

This Car vs Other 2026 X70 Pluses

While many 2026 models in the UAE used market are either brand new or high-mileage rentals, this specific unit sits in the 'sweet spot' with under 15,000 km. This translates to less wear on the suspension and interior surfaces compared to average GCC road use. The black finish further enhances its appeal, as it is one of the top three colors for liquidity in the local secondary market.

COM vs Lower Trims

The COM trim serves as a significant step up from the base X70 models by introducing the 1.6-litre turbocharged engine and the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Buyers specifically gain the 360-degree camera system and the upgraded 10.25-inch dual-screen digital cockpit, which are essential for navigating tight parking spaces in Dubai and Riyadh. It also features the more refined leatherette upholstery and multi-zone climate control required for long-distance family comfort.

X70 Plus vs Segment Rivals

The X70 Plus is frequently cross-shopped against the MG RX8 and the Changan CS75 Plus. It leads the segment in sheer interior tech-per-dirham, offering a more contemporary dashboard layout than many Japanese rivals. For GCC families, its competitive advantage lies in the 2,720 mm wheelbase which prioritizes second-row legroom, a crucial factor for long road trips across the Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 1.6T engine typically averages around 8.1 L/100km, performing efficiently during highway cruises between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Maintenance is supported by an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts are readily available. While Chinese brands generally face higher initial depreciation than Japanese marques, the X70 Plus has stabilized well due to its high demand in the budget-conscious family segment, typically retaining strong value through the three-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-litre turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 194 horsepower, providing confident overtaking power on fast-moving GCC highways. It is paired with a 7-speed DCT that ensures smooth transitions, whether in stop-start traffic or cruising at 140 km/h. While front-wheel drive keeps it road-biased, the 210 mm ground clearance is ample for handling gravel paths and typical suburban obstacles.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat configuration is highly flexible, with a second row that slides to balance legroom with third-row needs. The cabin is specifically engineered for high-temperature climates, featuring powerful air conditioning and dedicated rear vents to keep all three rows cool during the peak of summer. Large digital displays and a 360-degree view provide a high-tech environment that simplifies daily school runs and grocery trips.

Safety

This trim includes a comprehensive safety suite featuring front and side airbags, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist. The 360° camera system provides critical visibility in fast-moving highway traffic, while ISOFIX anchors ensure secure child-seat fitment. These features, combined with the vehicle's robust safety architecture, offer peace of mind for family-centric driving in the region.

The bottom line

Perfect for the growing family in the UAE or KSA that wants 2026-spec technology and a three-row layout without the brand-new price premium.
