Summary

This 2026 Lexus RX350h Platinum offers a compelling combination of brand-new model-year benefits and significant fuel savings, making it an ideal choice for the fuel-conscious GCC buyer. The Platinum trim, a high-specification Canadian grade, provides a level of interior refinement and technology that rivals the top luxury packages found in the regional market. With its hybrid system, this SUV excels in the heavy stop-start traffic of major cities like Dubai and Riyadh, while maintaining a smooth and quiet demeanor on long cross-emirate highway stretches. White remains the premier resale color across the GCC, ensuring this vehicle will hold its value exceptionally well. For anyone looking for a near-new luxury crossover with immediate availability, this Canadian-spec RX350h delivers premium comfort without the long waiting lists often found at local dealerships.

This Car vs Other 2026 RX350hs

As a 2026 model, this vehicle sits at the very beginning of its lifecycle, offering the most current tech and styling updates available in the RX lineup. In the GCC market, where newer model years command a significant premium, this specific listing represents an opportunity to own the latest generation before it becomes common on local roads. The Canadian regional spec is well-regarded for its high standard equipment levels, often including features that are optional on other international versions.

PLATINUM vs Lower Trims

The Platinum trim elevates the RX350h experience far beyond the base or Premium grades by incorporating premium materials and high-demand tech. Owners benefit from the larger 14-inch high-resolution touchscreen and a comprehensive 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, providing a much more modern interface than the 9.8-inch screen found on lower trims. Additionally, this grade typically adds ventilated front seats and semi-aniline leather, which are essential for maintaining comfort during the extreme GCC summer months.

RX350h vs Segment Rivals

The Lexus RX350h stands out against competitors like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE by prioritizing long-term reliability and hybrid efficiency over raw sportiness. Its self-charging hybrid system allows for significantly lower running costs in urban environments compared to the turbo-petrol engines found in most European rivals. While the BMW may offer sharper handling, the Lexus leads in cabin quietness and a more relaxed ride quality that is better suited for long-distance highway cruising between GCC cities.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus continues to be a gold standard for resale value in the UAE and wider GCC, with the RX historically depreciating at a much slower rate than its German counterparts. The hybrid powertrain offers a combined fuel economy of approximately 6.5 L/100km, which translates to massive savings at the pump for high-mileage drivers. While this is a Canadian-spec vehicle, the widespread Lexus authorized service network across the region ensures that parts and expert maintenance remain easily accessible in any major city.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid system produces a combined 246 horsepower, delivered through an electronic all-wheel-drive system that provides confident traction on sand-dusted roads or during rare rain events. It achieves the 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 7.9 seconds, offering enough low-end electric torque for responsive overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. With a braked towing capacity of 1,585 kg, it is also capable of handling light recreational trailers for weekend getaways.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat cabin is a sanctuary of quiet, thanks to extensive acoustic insulation and a powertrain that operates silently at low speeds. The Platinum trim ensures everyone stays cool with a powerful multi-zone climate control system and ventilated front seats, a must-have for the regional climate. Rear passengers enjoy ample legroom and dedicated air vents, making this an excellent choice for families who frequently travel between the emirates.

Safety

Safety is anchored by the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, and all-speed dynamic radar cruise control. These systems are particularly valuable on GCC highways for managing fast-moving traffic and maintaining safe distances during long drives. The 360-degree camera system further assists in navigating tight urban parking spaces, ensuring the vehicle remains pristine.

The bottom line

This 2026 RX350h Platinum is the perfect fit for a family or executive buyer who wants the latest Lexus luxury and hybrid efficiency without the depreciation hit of a brand-new local purchase.
