Summary

This 2024 model sits at the sweet spot of the GCC used market, offering a significant reduction in initial depreciation while remaining nearly new. The Grey exterior is a highly resilient choice for the region, masking desert dust better than darker tones while maintaining strong resale demand in the UAE. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it features the cooling hardware and warranty parameters essential for long-term reliability in extreme heat. The F-SPORT PRESTIGE trim bridges the gap between daily luxury and athletic road presence, making it a compelling buy for those who find the standard RX too soft and the German rivals too costly to maintain. With only 24,000 km, this SUV has barely finished its break-in period and is ready for years of trouble-free ownership across the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2024 RX350s

At 24,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is exceptionally low for the GCC, where the average annual use typically reaches 25,000 km. Most 2-year-old SUVs in the UAE have already crossed the 45,000 km mark, making this a standout example for mechanical longevity. The Grey finish is a strategic advantage for local resale, offering a modern aesthetic that holds value better than niche colors.

F- SPORT PRESTIGE vs Lower Trims

The F-SPORT PRESTIGE trim adds critical upgrades that GCC buyers prioritize, including Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) for a more composed highway ride at speed. Inside, it features bolstered sport seats with ventilation, which is a non-negotiable comfort in the summer heat. Unlike the base trims, this model also includes the 14-inch high-resolution touchscreen and the 360-degree camera system for easier navigation in tight urban parking.

RX350 vs Segment Rivals

The RX350 leads its primary rivals, the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE, in long-term reliability and cabin ergonomics. While the German competitors focus on complex tech, the Lexus offers a 68-litre fuel tank and a turbocharged powertrain optimized for the long, fast highway stretches between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Its cooling system is widely regarded as the most robust in the segment, ensuring the AC remains icy even in 50-degree August traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 9.8 L/100km, which is efficient for a mid-sized luxury SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Lexus maintains the highest value retention in the UAE luxury market, typically losing only 8-10% annually compared to 15%+ for European rivals. With an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, parts availability is never a concern, ensuring predictable maintenance costs over the life of the vehicle.

Performance & Capability

The 2.4L turbocharged engine produces 275 hp, enabling a smooth 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.4 seconds. This power is managed by an 8-speed automatic transmission that is tuned for seamless highway overtaking rather than aggressive track use. While primarily road-biased, its 205 mm ground clearance and selectable drive modes provide the confidence needed for gravel roads and weekend family trips to the mountains or coast.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat cabin is a sanctuary of Japanese craftsmanship, featuring acoustic glass that isolates passengers from exterior wind noise during high-speed cruising. Both front seats are ventilated, a critical feature for the GCC climate, while the rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents and ample legroom. The boot offers 838 litres of space with the seats up, easily accommodating large shopping hauls or family vacation luggage.

Safety

The standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 provides a comprehensive shield for GCC driving, including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, which is indispensable on the E11 highway. Lane Tracing Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring provide extra security during fast lane changes in heavy traffic. The vehicle is also equipped with a rear passenger safe-exit system to prevent doors from opening into approaching traffic.

The bottom line

This RX350 is the ideal choice for a professional seeking a low-mileage, high-spec luxury SUV that offers the best reliability and resale security in the GCC market.
