Summary

This 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLS450 4M PREMIUM represents a prime opportunity for GCC buyers, offering near-delivery mileage of just 1,600 km and the balance of its official agency warranty. The Grey exterior is a highly practical and desirable resale color in the region, effectively masking desert dust while maintaining a professional executive presence. As the 'S-Class of SUVs,' this model stands out for its effortless power and standard air suspension that smooths out highway expansion joints better than any rival. For the local buyer, having a GCC-spec vehicle ensures that the cooling and filtration systems are specifically engineered to handle the intense heat and fine sand characteristic of the UAE and Saudi markets.

This Car vs Other 2026 GLS450s

With only 1,600 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits at a fraction of the average annual GCC mileage, which typically reaches 25,000 km. This ultra-low usage effectively places the car in a 'near-new' category, offering a significant mechanical advantage over higher-mileage 2026 inventory already in circulation. The Grey paintwork is a neutral, high-demand choice that historically retains value better than unconventional colors in the UAE used market.

4M PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The 4M PREMIUM trim significantly enhances the daily GCC driving experience compared to standard models by including the upgraded Burmester Surround Sound system and ventilated front seats as standard. It also adds a more sophisticated 360-degree camera system and the MBUX Augmented Reality for navigation, features that are highly prized for maneuvering in tight urban parking and complex highway intersections. These additions are not just luxury touches; they are high-value search terms that drive stronger resale prices locally.

GLS450 vs Segment Rivals

The GLS450 leads rivals like the BMW X7 and Lexus LX by offering a genuinely usable third row for adults and a more composed highway ride courtesy of the standard AIRMATIC air suspension. Its 3.0-litre inline-six mild-hybrid powertrain delivers smoother power delivery than the V6 units found in some competitors, making it feel more refined during cross-country drives between emirates. Additionally, the Mercedes MBUX interface is widely considered the most advanced in the segment, offering superior Arabic language integration.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the GLS450 in GCC conditions averages approximately 11.3 L/100km, with the mild-hybrid system providing noticeable savings during stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are structured at 15,000 km or one year, and the extensive Mercedes-Benz authorized network across all GCC countries ensures convenient maintenance and strong parts availability. As a GCC-spec flagship, this model enjoys a slower depreciation rate than non-regional imports, typically retaining around 65-70% of its value after three years.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 367 hp inline-six engine with EQ Boost, the GLS450 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds, providing confident overtaking power on fast-moving highways like the E11. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and adjustable ground clearance make it highly capable for weekend trips to desert retreats, while the massive 3,500 kg towing capacity is ideal for those with marine or equestrian hobbies. The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission ensures that long-distance cruises are exceptionally quiet and efficient at highway speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 7-seat sanctuary featuring dedicated rear climate zones and vents, essential for maintaining passenger comfort during peak GCC summers. Standard acoustic glass provides impressive insulation from both road noise and external heat, creating a serene environment for family road trips. With 493 litres of cargo space available even with all seven seats in use, it offers superior practicality for school runs and airport trips without needing to fold the third row.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive, featuring an advanced ADAS suite that includes Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and a 360-degree camera system for total visibility. The GLS450 also features PRE-SAFE Impulse Side, which can move passengers away from an impending side impact, and standard adaptive cruise control that is perfectly suited for the long, straight highway stretches common across the Gulf region.

The bottom line

This near-new, GCC-spec GLS450 is the ideal choice for a family seeking flagship luxury with the peace of mind of an official dealer warranty and ultra-low mileage.
