Summary

This 2026 Peugeot 3008 Allure presents a compelling case for the modern GCC family, offering an extremely low mileage-to-age ratio that suggests it has barely been broken in. The striking Blue exterior stands out in a sea of monochrome crossovers while maintaining strong resale appeal due to its contemporary fastback styling. As a mid-tier trim, it strikes the perfect balance between high-end tech and accessible value, featuring the updated i-Cockpit layout that rivals premium German marques. Its efficient 1.6L turbocharged engine is perfectly suited for both the fast-paced Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway commutes and stop-start city traffic in Riyadh. For a buyer looking for European flair without the typical luxury depreciation curve, this near-new 3008 is a standout opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2026 3008s

With just 17,630 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for SUVs in the GCC market. The Blue paintwork is a refreshing and distinctive choice that holds its depth well under the intense Gulf sun compared to darker shades. Being a GCC-spec model, it benefits from the regional cooling system and air conditioning hardware essential for maintaining cabin comfort during the peak summer months.

ALLURE vs Lower Trims

The Allure trim is a significant step up from the base Active model, introducing 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and the enhanced panoramic i-Cockpit dual-display setup. It adds essential GCC lifestyle features such as a wireless smartphone charger and a high-definition reversing camera with a washing function to clear desert dust. You also gain keyless entry and start, alongside higher-quality partial leather upholstery that elevates the cabin feel over the standard fabric found in entry-level trims.

3008 vs Segment Rivals

The Peugeot 3008 leads rivals like the Kia Sportage and Toyota RAV4 in interior avant-garde design, offering a cockpit-like driving environment that feels more executive than utilitarian. Its 588-litre boot space is among the most generous in the compact crossover segment, providing more practical room for family road trips than the Mazda CX-5. While Japanese rivals focus on simplicity, the 3008 offers a more refined European driving dynamic and superior cabin materials.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is a highlight, with the 1.6L turbo engine averaging approximately 6.2 L/100km, making it one of the most efficient petrol-only SUVs in its class. Peugeot's authorized service network has expanded significantly across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals typically set at every 10,000 km for the local climate. While European crossovers generally depreciate faster than Japanese equivalents, the 3008 holds roughly 65-70% of its value after three years in the GCC, especially when maintained at the dealership.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6L turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 165 hp, enabling a respectable 0–100 km/h sprint in just 8.7 seconds, which is more than enough for confident highway overtaking. The 6-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smooth shifts, avoiding the hunting common in CVTs during high-speed cruising. With a 200 mm ground clearance, it easily manages gravel tracks and high curbs, though it remains a front-wheel-drive crossover best suited for paved roads and weekend beach trips rather than heavy dune bashing.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around the 10-inch panoramic dual-display and the signature small-diameter steering wheel, which provides an unobstructed view of the digital gauges. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard, featuring dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers stay cool during the UAE summer. The acoustic insulation is excellent, significantly reducing wind noise during long-distance drives across the emirates, while the partial leather seats offer a durable yet premium touch for family use.

Safety

This Allure trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including six airbags, Active Lane Keep Assist, and Extended Traffic Sign Recognition. For high-speed GCC highways, the Blind Spot Warning and Active Emergency Braking provide an essential layer of protection against fast-moving traffic. The inclusion of front and rear parking sensors combined with a 180-degree camera makes navigating tight city parking structures in malls simple and stress-free.

The bottom line

Perfect for the tech-conscious family or professional, this low-mileage 3008 Allure offers a near-showroom European SUV experience at a significantly more accessible price point than new.
