Summary

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP is a high-tech REEV that bridges the gap between full electric efficiency and the long-distance range required for GCC travel. With just 100 km on the odometer, this virtually brand-new SUV offers the peak VIP trim, which is highly sought after for its airline-style second-row seating. The Obsidian Black exterior is a staple for resale value in the UAE and Saudi markets, providing a professional and timeless look. As a Range Extended Electric Vehicle, it removes range anxiety for cross-country drives while providing the instant torque of a dual-motor electric system. For a buyer looking for a modern alternative to traditional luxury SUVs, this ROX 01 provides a unique mix of off-road ruggedness and first-class cabin comfort.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

At only 100 km, this listing is effectively a delivery-mileage vehicle, offering a significant advantage over other 2026 models that have already begun their service life. Typical annual mileage in the GCC often reaches 25,000 km, making this pristine example a rare find for a buyer who wants a new-car experience without the initial depreciation. The black-on-black color combination remains one of the most liquid configurations in the regional used market.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim is the definitive choice for those prioritizing passenger comfort, replacing the standard middle bench with two 12-way power-adjustable aviation captain chairs. These seats feature a zero-gravity recline mode, integrated 8-point spa massage functions, and independent ventilation, which is crucial for the UAE summer. Additionally, the VIP trim adds the 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen and upgraded Nappa leather throughout the cabin, features rarely found on the entry-level configurations.

01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 leads its segment with a massive 70-liter fuel tank that acts as a generator for the 56 kWh battery, outperforming the pure electric range of many PHEV competitors like the Li Auto L8. While many luxury crossovers are road-biased, the 01 offers a dedicated 'Wade Mode' and a 700 mm wading depth, making it better prepared for the flash flooding occasionally seen in Dubai and Muscat. Its Pininfarina-led design gives it a more distinctive, rugged silhouette compared to the softer lines of the AITO M9.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this REEV is highly efficient in GCC stop-start traffic, where it can operate almost entirely on electric power. ROX has established a strong regional presence with flagship centers in Dubai and Riyadh, ensuring that parts fulfillment and expert servicing are readily available across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The 5-year vehicle warranty and 8-year battery warranty provided by the manufacturer support strong value retention, as the brand has quickly captured over 10% of the luxury intelligent SUV market in the region. Expected annual depreciation is competitive with other premium tech-forward brands entering the market.

Performance & Capability

The dual-motor AWD system produces 476 hp and a massive 740 Nm of torque, enabling effortless highway overtaking even when fully loaded with six passengers. It features five dedicated terrain modes—including Sand and Rock—specifically tuned for regional off-road enthusiasts who want to explore beyond the pavement. The chassis is supported by an all-aluminum double-wishbone front suspension, providing a stable and refined ride during long-distance drives across the Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The 6-seater layout is designed for maximum cooling efficiency, featuring a tri-zone climate control system and dedicated vents for all three rows to combat 45°C+ summer temperatures. The cabin is exceptionally quiet thanks to double-layer noise-insulation glass, protecting passengers from both heat and high-speed wind noise on the highway. High-end materials like Nappa leather and real wood trim are complemented by a 15.7-inch 3K central display that serves as the hub for the vehicle's advanced tech suite.

Safety

Safety is prioritized with 9 airbags and a high-strength steel-aluminum mixed body that has earned top safety ratings. The full ADAS suite includes 360-degree high-definition cameras, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring, which are invaluable for navigating fast-moving, multi-lane GCC highways. The vehicle also features a 3D transparent chassis view, providing extra confidence when navigating tricky terrain or tight parking spots.

The bottom line

This ROX 01 VIP is the ideal choice for a tech-savvy family or executive looking for the comfort of a private jet combined with the range of a petrol SUV. With delivery mileage and the highest trim available, it represents the best current opportunity to own the region's most discussed new luxury all-terrain vehicle.
