• Six seats with second-row captain chairs

Summary

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP offers a unique opportunity to own a near-new, high-performance Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) that bridges the gap between luxury off-roading and electric efficiency. With just 23,000 km, this unit is barely broken in for the GCC market, where its black-on-black aesthetic ensures strong resale demand. Designed for the adventurous family, it combines a muscular Pininfarina-styled exterior with a high-tech cabin featuring a dropdown rear entertainment screen and first-class aviation seating. For GCC buyers, the REEV powertrain provides the silent, instant torque of an EV for city commutes in Dubai or Riyadh while eliminating range anxiety on long cross-border drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

With 23,000 km on the odometer, this ROX 01 is positioned perfectly as a lightly used example in a market where annual averages often exceed 25,000 km. The black exterior is the most sought-after color for this model in the UAE, providing a distinct advantage for future resale value. Choosing a 2026 model ensures you are getting the latest hardware refinements and software stability for the brand's sophisticated EREV system.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim is the definitive choice for luxury, upgrading the standard bench to executive second-row captain chairs with 'zero-gravity' reclining modes. Unlike the base Luxury trim, the VIP includes a 15.6-inch dropdown rear entertainment screen and a 15-speaker premium audio system as standard. It also adds essential GCC comforts like ventilated second-row seats and an integrated refrigerator compartment in the center console.

01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 leads rivals like the Li Auto L8 and Tank 500 by offering a more rugged, adventure-ready persona with a 700mm wading depth and a dedicated 'ROX' off-road mode suite. Its 70-liter fuel tank is larger than many hybrid competitors, providing a superior total range for long-distance desert highway travel. The interior space specifically targets the Li Auto L9 but does so with a boxier design that offers more vertical headroom for all three rows.

Running Costs & Resale

The REEV system delivers a combined official consumption of 7.95 L/100km, though real-world GCC highway driving at 120 km/h typically sees figures between 8.5L and 9.5L. Owners in the UAE benefit from an expanding dedicated service network with major hubs in Dubai's Umm Ramool and Abu Dhabi's Mussafah, supported by a regional parts center in Jebel Ali. As a newcomer to the market, the ROX 01 currently follows a depreciation curve similar to other high-end Chinese luxury brands, holding approximately 82-85% of its value after the first year.

Performance & Capability

A combined output of 476 hp and 740 Nm of torque allows this 2.7-ton SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds, providing effortless overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. The intelligent AWD system features five specific terrain modes—Snow, Mud, Rock, Sand, and Wade—backed by an adaptive damping system (DCC) that smooths out corrugated tracks. The 1.5L turbo engine acts solely as a generator, ensuring the drive always feels like a pure EV with immediate power delivery.

Comfort & Cabin

The 6-seat VIP layout is designed for maximum passenger comfort during extreme summer heat, featuring three-zone climate control and ventilated seats in both the first and second rows. Tech highlights include a massive 15.7-inch 3K central display and a digital rearview mirror that maintains visibility even when the cargo area is fully loaded. The cabin is further elevated by Nappa leather upholstery and a PM2.5 air purification system, essential for maintaining air quality during dusty GCC conditions.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and forward collision warning, all of which are vital for multi-lane highway driving. The VIP trim is equipped with a 360-degree high-definition camera system and a 3D 'transparent chassis' view that helps navigate tight parking spots or hidden obstacles off-road. Multiple airbags and a high-strength aluminum-steel hybrid body structure provide robust protection for all six occupants.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the presence of a Land Rover Defender with the technology and silence of a modern EV, this low-mileage 2026 ROX 01 VIP is the most complete luxury SUV package currently available in the regional market.
