• 235 km pure electric range (WLTC)
• 1,226 km total combined range (WLTC)

Summary

The 2026 ROX Adamas VIP represents a new tier of luxury in the extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) market, blending Pininfarina-led design with an immense 1,226 km total range. Its Obsidian Black exterior offers the strongest resale profile for the GCC market, while the PHEV powertrain provides silent urban electric driving without the range anxiety often found in pure EVs during long Abu Dhabi to Dubai highway stretches. As the flagship VIP trim, it offers a sophisticated airline-style cabin experience that positions it as a tech-forward alternative to established luxury off-roaders. For a buyer in the UAE or KSA, this represents a unique opportunity to own a high-output, luxury-focused SUV that is as capable on weekend escapes as it is refined for executive commuting.

This Car vs Other 2026 Adamas

As a 2026 model, this vehicle benefits from the latest EREV software calibrations and interior refinements introduced for the current model year. Its low mileage makes it a standout entry in the GCC used market, where annual averages often exceed 25,000 km due to frequent inter-city travel. The Obsidian Black finish is a high-demand color across the region, ensuring better value retention and faster resale compared to niche exterior shades.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim significantly elevates the cabin experience over the standard Couch variant, replacing the 7-seat bench with a 6-seat configuration featuring second-row captain chairs. These seats include aviation-grade comfort features like heating, ventilation, and a massage function that is essential for GCC summer driving. Additionally, the VIP trim adds soft-close doors and a standard 14-speaker premium audio system, features that command a premium in the local luxury market.

Adamas vs Segment Rivals

The Adamas competes directly with the Li Auto L9 and luxury stalwarts like the Land Rover Defender 130, leading the segment with a massive 700 mm wading depth and dedicated sand-surfing modes for desert terrain. Its 70-liter fuel tank and 56.01 kWh CATL battery provide a total range of 1,226 km (WLTC), significantly outpacing many European PHEVs for long-distance desert road trips. The inclusion of a V2L external power system also makes it more versatile for regional camping enthusiasts than traditional petrol SUVs.

Running Costs & Resale

With a combined fuel consumption of 6.1 L/100 km, the Adamas offers a substantial running cost advantage over traditional V8 SUVs in stop-start traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. The 1.5-liter engine acts as a generator, meaning service intervals are manageable and focused on the generator unit and the dual-motor electric system. While a newer brand in the GCC, the growing network of authorized centers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia supports long-term ownership, with depreciation expected to follow the trends of other high-tech Chinese luxury flagships.

Performance & Capability

Outputting 476 hp and 740 Nm of torque, the Adamas reaches 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on high-speed highways. Its intelligent All-Wheel Drive system is paired with seven-level adjustable air suspension, offering a maximum ground clearance of up to 272 mm for off-road articulation. The five terrain-specific modes—including Sand and Wading—ensure it handles regional desert dunes and seasonal floods with absolute composure.

Comfort & Cabin

The 6-seat VIP layout features an airline-style 'First Class' cabin with Nappa leather and second-row zero-gravity seats designed to reduce fatigue on cross-border drives. The triple-zone climate control and ventilated seating throughout are specifically engineered to maintain a cool interior even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. Practical touches for GCC families include a 15.7-inch 3K central display and a cabin that can be converted into a full-bed configuration for desert camping trips.

Safety

The Adamas comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including a 360-degree HD surround-view camera that is vital for navigating large SUVs in urban parking. Safety is further enhanced by blind-spot monitoring for fast-moving highway traffic and adaptive cruise control for long-distance cruising. The high-grade steel body and dual-motor stability control provide a secure platform for both city commuting and rugged off-road exploration.

The bottom line

This 2026 ROX Adamas VIP is the ideal choice for a tech-savvy GCC family seeking the comfort of a private jet with the rugged capability of a desert explorer. It represents a rare high-spec opportunity to bypass wait times for a vehicle that perfectly balances electric efficiency with long-range freedom.
