Summary

This 2026 Toyota Veloz GX is an ideal choice for GCC families seeking a brand-new, fuel-efficient 7-seater that balances urban agility with impressive cabin space. As a zero-km vehicle, it offers the full benefit of Toyota's legendary reliability and a fresh start for its next owner. The Grey exterior is a versatile, high-demand choice in the local market, ensuring it remains a smart investment for future resale. With its 1.5L Dual VVT-i engine and advanced safety kit, it provides a worry-free ownership experience backed by the strongest service infrastructure in the region.

This Car vs Other 2026 Velozs

As a brand-new 2026 model, this vehicle sits at the very start of its lifecycle with zero mileage, offering a significant advantage over even slightly used alternatives. In the GCC market, where high annual mileage is common, a zero-km unit represents peak mechanical longevity and maximum warranty protection. The Grey finish is a practical and popular choice, providing excellent heat reflection and maintaining strong resale interest across the UAE and wider region.

GX vs Lower Trims

The GX trim serves as the premium specification for the Veloz, adding essential features that matter in the GCC climate and driving culture. It includes upgraded 17-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and ambient lighting that elevates the cabin atmosphere. Unlike base models, the GX frequently features enhanced connectivity with an 8-inch touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside a more comprehensive suite of safety tech including six airbags standard.

Veloz vs Segment Rivals

The Veloz leads the compact 7-seater segment with a superior fuel economy of 19.3 km/L, outclassing rivals like the Mitsubishi Xpander and Suzuki Ertiga on running costs. Its 190 mm ground clearance is specifically suited for GCC urban environments, easily clearing speed bumps and uneven lot transitions. While competitors focus on utility, the Toyota offers a more car-like driving experience and a better-insulated cabin for long highway stretches between emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

Ownership costs are among the lowest in the class thanks to an official fuel consumption rate of 5.2 L/100km (19.3 km/L), which is a major advantage given the long distances driven in the GCC. Service intervals typically fall every 10,000 km, supported by the region's most extensive network of authorized centers from Dubai to Riyadh. Historically, Toyota models like the Veloz retain approximately 65% of their value after three years in the UAE market, significantly outperforming European and Chinese rivals.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L 4-cylinder engine produces 105 hp and 138 Nm of torque, optimized for smooth city commuting and efficient highway cruising via a responsive 7-speed CVT. While not designed for off-road dunes, its front-wheel-drive platform and 190 mm ground clearance make it highly capable for weekend family trips and navigating gravel parking areas. The Drive Mode Select allows you to toggle between Eco for fuel savings in traffic and Power for more urgent overtaking on high-speed motorways.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in space optimization, featuring three rows of seating that can accommodate seven passengers with a unique 'Long Sofa Mode' for maximum relaxation. GCC-specific comfort is prioritized with a powerful automatic climate control system and dedicated rear AC vents that ensure all three rows stay cool during peak summer heat. Acoustic glass and thoughtful insulation help keep the interior quiet during long cross-country drives, while wireless charging adds modern convenience for the daily commute.

Safety

Safety is a priority with six airbags standard on this trim, providing comprehensive protection for all occupants. The GX trim is equipped with essential active systems including Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-Start Assist (HAC), and a Rear View Camera with parking sensors to simplify tight urban maneuvers. These features are particularly useful on fast-moving GCC highways and in crowded city centers, offering peace of mind for family transport.

The bottom line

This brand-new 2026 Veloz GX is the ultimate high-efficiency family mover for the GCC, offering a rare combination of 7-seat utility and class-leading fuel economy with zero-km peace of mind.
