Summary

The 2026 Xpeng Gx represents the pinnacle of the brand's new 'Physical AI' architecture, offering a sophisticated Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) solution for the GCC. In this range-topping Flagship AWD trim, you receive a massive 503 hp and a versatile six-seat layout that rivals established European luxury SUVs. Its grey exterior emphasizes a modern, tech-forward aesthetic that holds strong resale appeal across the region. With its unique ability to eliminate range anxiety while providing near-silent electric operation, this is a top-tier choice for families demanding long-distance comfort and cutting-edge tech.

This Car vs Other 2026 Gxs

With only 50 km on the odometer, this Gx is essentially brand new, offering a significant advantage over average GCC annual mileages that typically reach 25,000 km. The Fjord Grey finish is a highly sought-after, premium color that offers excellent heat reflection and strong resale value in the UAE and Saudi markets. As a 2026 model, it features the very latest SEPA 3.0 platform, ensuring it remains at the forefront of automotive technology for years to come.

REEV 1585 FLAGSHIP AWD vs Lower Trims

The Flagship AWD trim distinguishes itself with the exclusive Bosch steer-by-wire system and rear-wheel steering, resulting in a tight 5.4-meter turning circle that is rare for a full-size SUV. It upgrades the cabin with a 33-speaker Hi-Fi audio system and triple-screen layout, including a massive 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen. While lower trims offer the same range, the Flagship adds the 3,000 TOPS Turing AI computing suite for advanced autonomous capabilities.

Gx vs Segment Rivals

The Xpeng Gx leads the luxury six-seat segment with a class-leading combined range of 1,585 km (CLTC), outperforming many traditional hybrid rivals on long cross-border drives. Its 800V charging architecture allows it to recover range faster than most competitors, adding 301 km of range in just 12 minutes. Inside, the dedicated six-seat configuration offers genuine adult legroom in the third row, a feat few SUVs in this class can match.

Running Costs & Resale

The REEV powertrain offers incredible efficiency with a WLTC charge-sustaining fuel figure of 6.19 L/100 km, keeping costs low during long-distance highway cruises between emirates. While Xpeng is a newer entrant to the GCC, authorized service centers are expanding across major cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi to support the growing fleet. Chinese regional spec vehicles are becoming increasingly popular in the UAE, though buyers should note that resale patterns typically follow an annual depreciation of 12-15% for high-tech luxury models.

Performance & Capability

Despite its full-size dimensions, the Gx reaches 100 km/h in just 4.98 seconds, providing the immediate torque needed for confident highway overtaking in fast-moving GCC traffic. The dual-motor AWD system is paired with dual-chamber air suspension and CDC adaptive damping, ensuring a smooth ride over varying road textures. For weekend trips, the intelligent AWD system provides reliable traction on gravel and light sand tracks common in the region.

Comfort & Cabin

The 'Starship Ark' cabin is designed for the extreme GCC summer, featuring standard ventilation and professional massage for the front seats and second-row captain's chairs. A built-in frost-free refrigerator and dedicated rear-seat climate zones ensure passenger comfort during long drives through the desert heat. Acoustic glass and an active noise cancellation system provide a serene environment, shielding the interior from wind noise at highway speeds.

Safety

The Gx is built with a 16,000-ton die-cast body and an aviation-grade 6-layer redundancy system for critical components like steering and braking. This Flagship trim includes the full XNGP ADAS suite, featuring blind-spot monitoring, 360-degree cameras, and adaptive cruise control that are essential for navigating busy multi-lane highways. Passive safety is reinforced by a comprehensive airbag system designed to protect all six occupants across three rows.

The bottom line

This 2026 Xpeng Gx Flagship is the perfect match for a tech-savvy family looking for a luxury six-seater that combines supercar acceleration with the freedom of a 1,500 km range.
