Summary

This Zeekr 8X Ultra is a rare high-performance PHEV opportunity with delivery-mileage, essentially providing a brand-new car experience without the wait. Finished in a resale-friendly Blue, it bridges the gap between pure electric efficiency and long-range petrol flexibility, making it ideal for crossing emirates. While Zeekr is a newer name in the region, the 8X shares its engineering with established Geely platforms, ensuring a level of mechanical familiarity for local specialists. For a GCC buyer, this trim offers the perfect balance of insane 900 hp performance and executive-level cabin comfort for the daily commute.

This Car vs Other 2026 8Xs

With just 100 km on the odometer, this 8X Ultra is effectively a new vehicle, offering a significant advantage over other 2026 models that may have already entered high-mileage highway service. The Blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that holds strong appeal in the UAE's premium used market, where unique but tasteful colors often command faster sales than standard white. In a market where average annual mileage exceeds 20,000 km, starting with a 100 km base represents a significant preservation of future resale value.

Ultra vs Lower Trims

The Ultra trim is a major step up from the base Max, most notably for the inclusion of the advanced 900V architecture which enables ultra-fast charging speeds. Inside, the Ultra adds premium comfort features essential for the GCC climate, including upgraded ventilation for the seats and a more sophisticated 360-degree camera system for navigating tight parking. It also features an enhanced ADAS suite with additional sensors that provide better safety coverage during high-speed highway driving.

8X vs Segment Rivals

The Zeekr 8X competes directly with the BMW X5 xDrive50e and the Li Auto L7, leading both in terms of raw electrical performance and charging speed. Its 900V system allows it to recover range significantly faster than its European rivals, a critical advantage at UAE fast-charging stations during mid-day heat. With a total combined range reaching up to 1,416 km (CLTC), it offers superior long-distance autonomy for trips from Dubai to Muscat or Riyadh without needing a single stop.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel efficiency is exceptional for a 900 hp vehicle, particularly in GCC city traffic where the electric motors handle the heavy lifting. The 70 kWh battery allows for nearly 300 km of real-world electric-only commuting, drastically reducing visits to the petrol station for daily Dubai or Abu Dhabi drivers. While the brand is expanding its official GCC presence through AW Rostamani, parts availability is supported by its shared SEA platform components. Depreciation for high-end Chinese EVs in the UAE is currently stabilizing as the service network matures.

Performance & Capability

Delivering a massive 900 hp, the 8X Ultra handles highway overtaking with effortless authority, reaching 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. The dual-motor setup provides confident all-wheel-drive traction, useful not just for performance but for maintaining stability on sand-dusted road surfaces. The vehicle also features a 900V high-voltage architecture, which supports 6C fast charging, allowing the battery to go from 20% to 80% in approximately 9 minutes under optimal conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed with a focus on executive luxury, featuring a spacious 5-seat layout that offers generous rear legroom for family use. Standard ventilated seats are a necessity for the GCC summer, ensuring comfort even when ambient temperatures exceed 45°C. The interior is whisper-quiet thanks to extensive acoustic insulation, protecting passengers from both road noise and the harsh desert heat. Large digital displays and a premium audio system create a high-tech sanctuary for long cross-border drives.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive ADAS suite that includes adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, both of which are highly beneficial for the fast-paced multi-lane highways of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The 8X is built on a high-strength chassis designed for global safety standards, featuring multiple airbags and advanced stability controls that help manage the vehicle's significant power output on varying surfaces.

The bottom line

For the early adopter who wants supercar acceleration combined with family SUV practicality and zero range anxiety, this delivery-mileage 8X Ultra is the premier choice in the market today.
