Summary

This 2027 Geely Coolray GL arrives as an essentially brand-new vehicle with just 150 km on the clock, offering a significant saving over showroom delivery while maintaining its full agency warranty. As a 0-year-old car, it represents a peak opportunity for GCC buyers seeking the latest automotive tech and turbocharged performance without the typical new-car wait times. The White exterior is widely regarded as the strongest resale color in the local market, ensuring long-term value retention. Built on Geely's advanced BMA platform, it balances European-influenced handling with a cooling system specifically optimized for the extreme Gulf climate. For the pragmatic buyer, this listing offers a fresh-from-the-factory experience with immediate availability.

This Car vs Other 2027 Geely Coolrays

With only 150 km, this vehicle sits at the absolute lowest end of the mileage spectrum for the current model year, effectively serving as a brand-new car. While typical GCC annual use for compact SUVs often exceeds 20,000 km, this unit has barely completed its delivery transit, offering a pristine mechanical slate. The White paint choice is a strategic advantage for the region, reflecting heat efficiently and commanding higher demand in the pre-owned market.

GL vs Lower Trims

The GL trim serves as the entry point to the Coolray lineup but importantly retains the same 1.5L turbocharged engine and 7-speed DCT found in the top-spec models. Unlike lower-tier subcompacts in the segment, the GL comes standard with essentials for the UAE climate, including high-output air conditioning and a 12.3-inch infotainment display. It provides the core performance and styling of the range while focusing on value-oriented equipment.

Coolray vs Segment Rivals

The Coolray leads rivals like the MG ZS and Nissan Kicks in raw performance, offering a quicker 0–100 km/h time thanks to its NordThor turbo engine. Its cabin technology feels a generation ahead of standard Japanese rivals in this price bracket, featuring a more responsive digital interface. The modular BMA architecture also provides a level of high-speed stability on GCC highways that is often missing in budget-focused crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel efficiency is a standout feature, with a verified combined consumption of 6.5 L/100km, making it ideal for the stop-start traffic of Dubai or Riyadh. Geely has established an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and KSA, with standard minor service intervals every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands historically faced steeper depreciation, the Coolray has bucked the trend in the GCC, maintaining competitive value retention due to its high demand and established parts availability.

Performance & Capability

Delivering 174 hp and 290 Nm of torque, the Coolray GL offers punchy acceleration that makes highway overtaking effortless on fast-moving roads like the E11. The 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission is tuned for quick shifts, ensuring the power is always accessible. Multiple drive modes, including a dedicated 'Sport' setting, allow you to sharpen the throttle response for a more engaging urban driving experience.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seater cabin is designed for daily comfort, featuring a modern dashboard anchored by a high-resolution touchscreen. Special attention has been paid to heat insulation and AC throughput, ensuring the interior remains cool even during peak summer temperatures. Despite its subcompact footprint, the cabin layout provides generous legroom for all passengers and a practical 330-litre boot for grocery runs or weekend trips.

Safety

Safety is managed through a comprehensive suite of active and passive systems, including front and side airbags and a reinforced steel cage. Standard features for the GL include electronic stability control, traction control, and a rear-view camera with parking sensors, which are essential for navigating tight urban parking spots. The braking system includes electronic brakeforce distribution to maintain composure during emergency stops on sandy or hot road surfaces.

The bottom line

This is a rare chance to secure a current-year 2027 Coolray with delivery mileage, offering the perfect balance of modern turbocharged power and exceptional GCC resale potential.
