Introduction

The Saab 9000, introduced in 1984, was a large executive car that marked Saab’s entry into the premium sedan segment. Developed in collaboration with Fiat, Lancia, and Alfa Romeo under the “Type Four” platform project, it shared architecture with cars like the Lancia Thema and Alfa Romeo 164.
