Summary

This 2010 LC76 LX is a rare find in the GCC, presenting an almost unheard-of mileage that effectively makes it a time-capsule example of the legendary 70 Series. Finished in Beige—the most sought-after and heat-reflective color for desert use—it holds a commanding position for future resale value. While rivals have moved toward complex electronics, this 4.0L V6 Petrol model remains the gold standard for mechanical purity and heat resistance in extreme summer temperatures. For the collector or serious overlander, this is a chance to own a showroom-spec icon that is built to outlast almost anything else on the road.

This Car vs Other 2010 Land Cruiser 70s

With only 2,600 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered less than what a typical GCC owner drives in a single month. Most 2010 models in the region have exceeded 250,000 km, making this one of the lowest-mileage survivors currently available. The beige exterior is the premier choice for the local market, ensuring it retains a value premium over less traditional colors.

LC76 LX vs Lower Trims

The LX trim elevates the rugged 70 Series with essential GCC comforts, including wider wheel arches, power windows, and central locking which are often missing on base Workmate or Standard grades. It specifically adds cloth upholstery and a more ergonomic dashboard layout, providing a necessary layer of refinement for long-distance desert expeditions without compromising its mechanical simplicity.

Land Cruiser 70 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Nissan Patrol Safari or Jeep Wrangler, the Land Cruiser 70 leads in pure structural durability and long-term parts availability across the entire GCC network. Its 130-litre fuel tank provides a massive range advantage for cross-border trips between the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. The naturally aspirated V6 avoids the heat-soak issues that can affect turbocharged competitors during mid-summer desert climbs.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1GR-FE 4.0L V6 is famous for its low maintenance requirements, typically needing only basic oil and filter changes every 5,000 to 10,000 km at any authorized Toyota center. Fuel consumption averages around 13.5 L/100km, which is competitive for a heavy-duty 4x4 of this era. Resale value for a GCC-spec 70 Series is exceptionally high, with well-preserved examples like this often depreciating at less than 8% annually.

Performance & Capability

The 228 hp V6 provides immediate torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission that gives the driver total control over difficult terrain. A factory-standard 230 mm ground clearance and a 35-degree approach angle ensure it can navigate steep dunes and rocky wadis that would stop a modern crossover. The part-time 4WD system and low-range gearing are designed for high-stress agricultural and desert use, not just occasional recreation.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for functional longevity, featuring high-capacity air conditioning specifically engineered to cool the interior rapidly after being parked in 50°C heat. The LX grade includes better sound insulation than base models, making it more suitable for highway commutes between Emirates. Integrated storage and a vertical dashboard design prioritize ease of use even when wearing driving gloves or navigating off-road.

Safety

Safety is focused on robust mechanical reliability, featuring a reinforced body-on-frame structure that provides a stable platform in off-road environments. Standard equipment includes Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and dual front airbags, providing essential protection for the driver and front passenger. Its high-visibility greenhouse and large side mirrors are particularly helpful for maintaining awareness in fast-moving highway traffic.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to secure a near-zero mileage GCC-spec legend in the region's most desirable color, perfectly suited for a collector who values mechanical perfection.
