Summary

This 2014 Bentley Continental GTC represents a rare find in the GCC market, combining the legendary W12 powertrain with remarkably low mileage for its age. Finished in white, the region's most desirable color for resale, it offers a sophisticated presence that perfectly suits the luxury lifestyle of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While many grand tourers of this era have exceeded high mileage due to long-distance highway use, this example has been driven sparingly, preserving its mechanical integrity and interior craftsmanship. The GTC stands apart from rivals by offering a level of hand-assembled refinement that mass-produced alternatives cannot match. For a GCC buyer, this is a chance to own a flagship twelve-cylinder convertible that is just as capable of crossing borders in total comfort as it is cruising the city boulevards.

This Car vs Other 2014 Continentals

With only 47,446 km on the odometer, this Continental GTC has covered less than 5,000 km per year, significantly lower than the GCC average of 20,000 km. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, offering better heat reflection during the summer months and commanding a premium at resale compared to darker tones. Its low-mileage status makes it a standout entry in the used market, where mechanical wear from heat and high-speed highway travel is a common concern for buyers.

GTC vs Lower Trims

The W12-powered GTC provides a substantial increase in prestige and smoothness over the V8 base model, featuring the iconic 6.0L twelve-cylinder engine that defines the Bentley brand. This trim includes the All-Wheel Drive system as standard, ensuring maximum traction on the sandy or dusty surfaces often found on UAE roads. Furthermore, the GTC features a multi-layered acoustic soft top designed to provide coupe-like silence and superior heat insulation, a critical upgrade for the GCC climate.

Continental vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Maserati GranCabrio or the Mercedes-Benz SL, the Bentley leads with its hand-built W12 engine and superior cabin materials. The 90-litre fuel tank provides a significantly longer touring range for cross-emirate drives compared to its Italian competitors. Additionally, the Bentley's AWD system offers greater stability during the rare but intense rain and sandstorms encountered in the region, providing a sense of security that rear-wheel-drive luxury convertibles lack.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption for the 6.0L W12 typically averages 14.9 L/100km, making it a car designed for performance rather than economy, though it excels at sustained highway speeds. Service intervals are recommended every 16,000 km or 12 months, with an extensive network of authorized centers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait ensuring specialized care. While European luxury cars see higher depreciation than Japanese brands, the W12 GTC holds its value better than almost any other convertible in its class due to its flagship status and the local demand for Bentley's heritage.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this GTC is the 565 hp W12 engine, propelling this substantial grand tourer to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. Its top speed of 314 km/h is rarely tested, but the effortless torque makes overtaking on fast-moving highways like E11 completely stress-free. The eight-speed automatic transmission is tuned for refinement, delivering smooth shifts that maintain the car's 'silent power' even when accelerating briskly away from city traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the four-seat cabin is a masterclass in leather and wood veneer, featuring a powerful climate control system specifically engineered to combat extreme desert temperatures. The multi-layered roof is designed to reflect UV rays, keeping the interior cool even when parked in the sun. Long drives between Abu Dhabi and Dubai are made effortless by the plush seating and high-quality acoustic glass that isolates passengers from road and wind noise.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive airbag system, electronic stability control, and advanced anti-lock brakes designed to bring this heavy grand tourer to a stop with precision. The All-Wheel Drive system serves as a primary safety feature, providing consistent grip on varying surfaces from paved city streets to gravel-strewn desert side roads. Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights ensure maximum visibility during night drives across unlit desert highways.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to secure a low-mileage, GCC-spec W12 Bentley in the region's preferred color, offering a perfect balance of performance and prestige for the discerning local collector.
