Summary

This GCC-spec Ferrari F12 Berlinetta represents a rare opportunity to own one of the final naturally aspirated V12 flagships before the industry's shift toward hybridization. With 46,000 km, the mileage is well below the typical GCC average for a ten-year-old vehicle, suggesting careful use rather than daily commuting. The black exterior is highly sought after in the regional used market, ensuring strong resale liquidity compared to more niche colors. As the predecessor to the 812 Superfast, this car delivers nearly identical theatrical performance for a more accessible entry point. For the GCC collector, its blend of daily grand-touring comfort and track-ready power makes it a definitive modern classic.

This Car vs Other 2014 F12s

While average annual mileage for a vehicle in the UAE often hits 25,000 km, this F12 has averaged under 5,000 km per year. This low-mileage status places it in a premium bracket for collectors who value mechanical longevity. The GCC specification is a critical factor here, as it ensures the cooling systems and electronics are optimized for the extreme regional heat.

BERLINETTA vs Lower Trims

As the flagship V12 model of its era, the Berlinetta sits at the top of the range with no lower engine tiers available. Compared to earlier GT models, this trim introduced the 'Aero Bridge' on the hood and active brake cooling ducts, features that GCC buyers value for both high-speed stability and heat management. The cabin is also upgraded with a focus on Ferrari's 'human-machine interface' to keep controls focused on the steering wheel.

F12 vs Segment Rivals

The F12 leads rivals like the Aston Martin Vanquish and Lamborghini Aventador by offering a superior balance of raw speed and grand-touring visibility. Its front mid-engine layout provides a more usable boot space than the Aventador, making it practical for weekend trips across the Emirates. Furthermore, its 740 hp output was class-leading at launch, comfortably outmuscling the contemporary naturally aspirated competition.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 15.7 L/100km, though this will increase in stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service is required annually or every 20,000 km at authorized Ferrari centers, which are well-established across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The F12 is currently in a market 'sweet spot' where depreciation has flattened significantly, as enthusiasts move toward analog V12 engines that are no longer in production.

Performance & Capability

The 6.3L V12 is a masterpiece of engineering, capable of reaching a top speed of 340 km/h and lapping the Fiorano circuit faster than the 599 GTO. On the highway, the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission provides instant overtaking power, while the rear-wheel-drive setup is managed by an E-Diff for exceptional grip. The car's active aerodynamics adapt to your speed, ensuring the vehicle remains planted during high-speed desert highway runs.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the two-seat cockpit is wrapped in premium leather and features the iconic Ferrari bridge console. The powerful AC system is designed to handle the 45°C+ temperatures of a GCC summer, maintaining cabin comfort even under heavy engine load. Despite its supercar performance, the insulation from road noise and the inclusion of a high-end JBL audio system make it a genuine long-distance cruiser.

Safety

Standard safety features include high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes that provide immense stopping power even in high-heat conditions. The F12 is equipped with advanced F1-Trac traction control and E-Diff 3, which are particularly effective at maintaining stability on sand-dusted road surfaces. Dual front and side airbags, along with an optimized aluminum space-frame chassis, provide robust protection for both occupants.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast seeking the pinnacle of naturally aspirated Ferrari performance, this low-mileage, GCC-spec F12 is a secure choice that bridges the gap between modern tech and pure V12 emotion.
