Summary

This GCC-spec Mercedes-Benz CLA250 is an ideal entry point into premium German engineering, offering a sharper, more youthful alternative to the traditional C-Class. Finished in White, the most sought-after resale color in the UAE, it has covered 167,000 km, which is well within the expected range for a 2015 model used for highway commuting between Emirates. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system provides a significant handling advantage on both high-speed highways and rain-slicked city streets. For a buyer looking for a stylish, reliable sedan that balances prestige with manageable running costs, this listing represents a well-maintained opportunity in a highly competitive segment.

This Car vs Other 2015 CLA250s

With 167,000 km, this vehicle sits at a typical average for a nine-year-old car in the GCC, where annual mileage often reaches 20,000 km due to long-distance highway travel. The exterior is finished in White, which is a major advantage for local buyers as it reflects heat better than darker tones and holds the highest resale value in the UAE market. Unlike many American-spec imports found locally, this is a genuine GCC-spec vehicle, ensuring the cooling system and AC are factory-optimized for extreme desert heat.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

While marketed as the standard trim for the 250 series, this model includes the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, which was an expensive option over the base front-wheel-drive CLA. It also features dual-zone automatic climate control and integrated sport seats as standard, providing a more premium cabin environment than the entry-level CLA200. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters is standard here, offering a more engaging drive than the smaller-displacement variants.

CLA250 vs Segment Rivals

The CLA250 leads rivals like the Audi A3 and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe in pure aesthetic appeal, featuring frameless door glass and a more aggressive 'four-door coupe' silhouette. It offers a larger 470-litre boot compared to the A3, making it more practical for weekend trips to Oman or Ras Al Khaimah. Mercedes-Benz’s 4MATIC system is widely regarded for its seamless power transition, providing better high-speed stability on the E11 than its front-wheel-drive competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is efficient for its class, averaging approximately 6.1 L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic will see this rise toward 8.6 L/100km. Service intervals are typically set at 15,000 km or 12 months, and with one of the most extensive authorized service networks across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, parts availability is excellent. The CLA250 retains value better than many European luxury peers, with GCC-spec models depreciating at a manageable rate of roughly 12-15% annually at this stage of its lifecycle.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-litre turbocharged engine produces 208 hp and 350 Nm of torque, allowing for a verified 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.7 seconds. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system ensures maximum traction during the UAE's occasional heavy rains and provides confidence during fast highway overtaking. The car reaches a factory-limited top speed of 240 km/h, maintaining a planted and refined feel even at sustained cruising speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features Mercedes-Benz's signature sport seats with integrated headrests, designed to provide excellent support during long commutes. The dual-zone climate control is powerful enough to combat 45°C+ summer temperatures, with rear vents ensuring passenger comfort in the back. Standard tech includes a 7-inch tablet-style display and Bluetooth connectivity, while the cabin is well-insulated against road and wind noise for a quiet highway experience.

Safety

This CLA250 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Attention Assist to detect driver fatigue and Collision Prevention Assist with autonomous braking. It features nine airbags as standard, including a driver’s knee airbag, and holds a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating. The electronic stability program (ESP) and traction control are specifically tuned to handle both high-speed asphalt and the fine sand often blown onto UAE roads.

The bottom line

Perfect for the young professional or small family, this GCC-spec CLA250 offers the ideal mix of Mercedes-Benz prestige, all-weather 4MATIC capability, and strong resale potential in the local market.
