Summary

This 2015 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe is a standout choice in the UAE market, offering significantly lower mileage than the typical 220,000 km expected for its 11 years of age. The biturbo V6 delivers effortless highway power, while the timeless white exterior ensures strong resale demand across the GCC. As a Japanese regional spec vehicle, it has benefitted from the high maintenance standards typical of the Japanese market, arriving in the UAE in remarkably clean condition. This is a refined executive tourer that balances German precision with a sportier two-door silhouette for the discerning driver.

This Car vs Other 2015 E400s

With just 81,300 km on the odometer, this E400 has been driven less than half the average distance for a car of this age in the UAE. While many 11-year-old executive coupes show significant interior wear from high-mileage commuting between emirates, this example retains a fresh cabin feel. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the GCC, providing a massive advantage for heat management and future resale value.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The E400 sits above the E200 and E300, replacing the naturally aspirated engines with a potent biturbo V6. This trim includes the panoramic glass sunroof and heated sport seats as standard, features that are often optional on lower-displacement models. It also benefits from larger brake discs and a more aggressive styling package that aligns with its increased performance output.

E400 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW 435i or Audi A5, the E-Class Coupe offers a more comfortable ride quality and a pillarless side profile that provides an airy, open-cabin feel unique to Mercedes. Its 66-liter fuel tank is well-suited for long-distance cruising across the UAE's highway network. The interior focuses on high-quality materials and classic luxury rather than the stiffer, track-focused setups found in some competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the V6 biturbo averages around 7.5 to 7.9 L/100km on the highway, making it surprisingly efficient for a performance engine during inter-city drives. As a Japanese spec import, buyers should note that while mechanical parts are identical to GCC versions, the navigation system and radio frequencies may require local adaptation. Authorized Mercedes-Benz service centers are widely available throughout Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the wider GCC, ensuring reliable long-term maintenance.

Performance & Capability

The 333 hp biturbo V6 allows this coupe to reach 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds, providing the immediate torque needed for confident overtaking on the E11. The 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission is tuned for smoothness, shifting imperceptibly during city traffic while offering paddle shifters for a more engaged drive. Despite its performance credentials, the rear-wheel-drive chassis remains composed and stable even at its 250 km/h electronically limited top speed.

Comfort & Cabin

The four-seat layout features rear bucket seats that provide genuine comfort for adults, unlike many cramped 2+2 coupes. The absence of a B-pillar allows for a dramatic panoramic view when all four windows are lowered, perfect for the UAE's cooler winter months. Standard acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from road noise and desert winds, creating a serene environment for daily commuting or weekend escapes.

Safety

This E400 comes standard with Collision Prevention Assist Plus and Attention Assist, which monitors for driver fatigue—a critical feature for long desert highway drives. It is equipped with a comprehensive airbag suite, including window curtains and pelvic bags for front occupants. The PRE-SAFE system is also included, which proactively tightens seatbelts and closes windows if a potential collision is detected.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a buyer seeking a low-mileage, high-performance German coupe that has escaped the heavy wear-and-tear of typical GCC commuting.
